Food, Location, Ambience, Staff courtesy. Overall I loved my stay.
Room cleanliness, specially stained mattress and improper cleaning. Although my issues was sorted on raising my concerns. Apart this I loved my stay there.
Old style charm of the property. Plus excellent service and food.
Room size is small. But since it's old historic property one has to accept it.
The ambience, the staff, the food, the suite
The way to the Resort
Beautiful and exceptionally well maintained, courteous staff, excellent food
Small room with no views, High tariff
Vintage , Old world charm , Serene !
I absolutely loved it. Was the perfect place to be on my birthday. The ambience , the food and the people - everything was just perfect. Including the amazing weather which dropped to almost 9 deg.
Beautiful property located in Landour, overlooking Mussoorie and its valley with far reaching views to Dehradun on a clear day. Very friendly staff willing to help in anyway and excellent food in the restaurant.
Their policy with respect to alcohol was unclear before we booked. It turned out to be a dry property and , although they will procure your alcohol, they will not let you consume any of it in their dining room, only in your own room and in secluded parts of the garden. Not a problem if you know about it, so they should make this very clear on their website (especially as the photo gallery has a photo of food with wine).
Vibe of the hotel is very rich n fine
Location
Rooms were very small, dark and dingy. Only cottages are good
Heavenly straight out of a fairy tale

Property location
I booked the Rose Suite for 3 nights at more than 27 k / night. They do not bother informing the guests that the room is on the ground floor near the entrance. For 3 days, we could not open the curtains because the windows are right next to the path for all guests, drivers, staff, and all sundry visitors. All the cars are parked right next to the window - so everyday we would wake up with some loud diesel engine starting up outside our window. I didnt expect a view - but not being able to open curtains and noise all day is not how I expected my room to be. What upset me is that these management does not have any disclosure of the limitation of this room.
The restaurant is another sad story. it is over-priced for average food, service is slow. But the biggest thing was that the staff is generally unfriendly. Not rude, but just very sullen and grumpy faces.
The 3 rating is still for the building and the location - for the current management, it is a hard 1. Look for homestays in Landour, but avoid this place.
