Amazing place to stay, highly recommend!
Pros:

Beautiful cottage, lovely resort and the staff and customer service, especially front of house/ reception were fantastic. Breakfast was nice, and the location was great. Would be beautiful all year round, we loved it so much we have already rebooked. Perfect for honeymoon, couples getaway.

Cons:

Can be a bit noisy if there is a function/wedding on, if you are in one of the cottages next to the function room.

Pros:

Beautiful property, perfect location in walking distance to many great wineries. We booked the Winemakers Cottage and it was perfect - we loved having a balcony overlooking the lake. The cottage was very comfortable, it had everything we needed, was very quiet, and the fire was lovely! The grounds of this property are gorgeous (including the pool and hot tub area), the photos don’t do it justice. We will definitely stay here again!

A bit disappointing
Pros:

I liked the food from the restaurant

Cons:

The property is in a time warp and needing an upgrade . The bathroom smelled mouldy and was breaking down around the tiles between the shower and bath . The grounds needed to be maintained more too as our balcony was black with mould and the garden was not groomed well around the grounds . RThe tv is not a smart tv so can’t connect your own apps.

Nice, but alot could be done to improve the experience!
Pros:

The cottage itself was lovely and had good provision.
Jacuzzi bath was nice after long days walking.

Cons:

We have travelled around New Zealand for 3 weeks staying at various places and found the breakfast here poor when compared to other (cheaper!) places. Flies sitting on alot of food was very off putting and the cheese on offer one morning had clearly been brought out from previous day as it was extremely dried up. The fact that you had to pay for anything cooked was very disappointing when this has been offered everywhere else we have stayed,even when it was to order off a menu.
Bed rather uncomfortable with lumpy ridge in the middle due to two single mattresses joined together. Our worst night sleep this holiday because of this.

Disappointing.
Pros:

Size of the room

Cons:

The room is full of flies! None of the doors and windows have flyscreen. Anytime you want some fresh air, you got flies.
The pictures on the website do not match reality, the only view I got was the neighour's driveway, no privacy whatsoever.
