We went for our wedding anniversary trip. Great location, cleaness, amazing service and perfect staffs.
Too many flys in the room
Clean, well-appointed rooms. Great location. Excellent scenery. Responsive staff.
Gorgeous rooms, comfy bed, great shower, really clean, well appointed.
Gas heater in room needed attention.
a beautiful place to stay , beautifully decorated and comfortable, well equipped. Lovely staff and beautiful grounds
The cottage itself was lovely and had good provision.
Jacuzzi bath was nice after long days walking.
We have travelled around New Zealand for 3 weeks staying at various places and found the breakfast here poor when compared to other (cheaper!) places. Flies sitting on alot of food was very off putting and the cheese on offer one morning had clearly been brought out from previous day as it was extremely dried up. The fact that you had to pay for anything cooked was very disappointing when this has been offered everywhere else we have stayed, even when it was to order off a menu.
Bed rather uncomfortable with lumpy ridge in the middle due to two single mattresses joined together. Our worst night sleep this holiday because of this.
Size of the room
The room is full of flies! None of the doors and windows have flyscreen. Anytime you want some fresh air, you got flies.
The pictures on the website do not match reality, the only view I got was the neighour's driveway, no privacy whatsoever.
Quiet and beautiful place to unwind. On our arrival, there was a lovely note wishing us well for our anniversary, which was a thoughtful touch. We ordered a bottle of celebratory wine, and they surprised us with a complimentary cheese board. It made the experience even more special.
Everything, photos don't do it justice
The York Bistro restaurant steak so underwhelming and for $80 but staff great and continental breakfast was awesome.
Lovely room and bath. The gas fire place.
The chimney was a wind tunnel and very noisey at night.
No eggs etc included in the Brekky.
Bed was very hard.
Fabulous place to stay. Have stayed here before and look forward to coming back. Everything was great except the wifi.
The wifi was at best intermittent, which spoiled our planned evening entertainment.
Excellent continental breakfast, great staff, Fantastic food at restaurant. Great room and services.
The cottage was cosy, clean, modern and had everything we needed. Quiet. The bar and restaurant were great. Dinner was very good.
Unit 7. The outdoor table has seen better days. The whole unit is quite dark due to the tree growth. Maybe time for a trim back.
