Service
9.5
Staff repeatedly described as 'friendly', 'very nice', 'excellent' and 'professional'; free parking and welcoming service noted — strong positive service sentiment.
Location
9.9
Almost universal praise for waterfront location, harbour/sea views, proximity to town and attractions (Titanic Experience, train station) — standout strength.
Room Quality
8.3
Rooms described as spacious, comfortable beds and excellent views, but some guests reported rooms being 'way too warm' in summer and missing in-room fridge, lowering this score slightly.

Property has positives (elevator, tea/coffee, parking available) but lacks air-conditioning in rooms, some guests noted no fridge and a poor plug-in fan; parking manoeuvre issues also affect amenities perception.

Many guests praised the overall experience, free/available parking and quality of food/service, suggesting good value for the location despite some amenity gaps.
Food and Beverage

Frequent praise for 'excellent' food, 'very good' dinner and terrace dining; a few comments about the buffet breakfast not matching other stops slightly temper the score.
Overall Experience
8
Numerous comments like 'fabulous', 'extra special', repeat stays and strong views suggest a highly positive overall experience, though some amenity issues (heat, parking) moderate the final impression.

Fabulous stay excellent location
Pros:

The room was very spacious with gorgeous views overlooking the water. Staff were so helpful and polite. Food is amazing and excellent choice. Location is perfect with the train station to Cork city only a 2 minute walk away.

Cons:

Ceiling in the room obviously had a leak at some stage so a link of paint wouldn't have gone a stray. House keeping need to pay attention to under the beds. I dropped an earring went under the bed for it, wasnt a nice sight. The cruise ships come into port, although lovely to see, we woke up with crew members looking into our room. Light net curtains would have saved us this embarrassment.

Great hotel in an exceptional location on the water
Pros:

Great location with guest parking and walking distance to town. Had a loft for heavy luggage.
A fan was provided, which was great on a warm evening.

Cons:

A mini-fridge would have made this hotel perfect!

It was so relaxing to sit outside with a glass of wine and watch the ocean and the boats.
Pros:

The view was amazing. Had seafood chowder . It was ok but it should have been thicker and creamier. The room was nice and clean.

Cons:

The food.

Pros:

La vue sur la mer, le personnel très gentil, la proximité du centre ville. Cobh qui est une jolie petite ville.

Cons:

L'énorme bateau de croisière qui s'amarre juste devant l'hôtel à 7h du matin et réveille tout le monde.

Pros:

Cleanliness, it was very clean. The staff were very helpful and kind. Genuinely friendly. The breakfast was lovely and had all that we needed. The location was fabulous.

Cons:

The room was so hot (just the unusual weather made it worse) but the plug in air con was helpful but not great at cooling the room down.

There is no fridge in the room.
