Beautifully maintained old building and fantastic mural.
Pool was out of order during our stay unfortunately.
Mix of old historic building with modern interiors cleverly achieved; very stylish throughout. Original 20th century artworks (sculpture and mural) on the stairway. Helpful staff. Great location for visiting Centro Historico.
Excellent breakfast buffet (including authentic Oaxaca cheese) as well as delicious hot dishes freshly prepared and served by the brilliant all female team. Traditional crockery a pleasure to use.
Short term notice that some facilities were not available however we were offered alternatives nearby.
The lighting in the rooms is very atmospheric, but not bright. There was no window in the room except shutters in the doors which enabled others to look in; however this wasn't really a problem as we were mostly out.
Such a great marriage of antiquity y modern
Location, facilities, STAFF!!!
Bit more bathroom privacy maybe…
Der Pool, das Frühstück, die Lage und das sehr freundliche Personal

Very central location just around the Zocalo area. A very well-preserved historic building in the Centro Histórico area of Mexico City. The design of the hotel and the guest rooms is very nice and contemporary.
Due to the external restaurants on the Ground Floor area, it is a very noisy area with noise disturbance until ca. 11pm at night (music bands, guest conversations). All the guest rooms face the inner courtyards with those restaurants on the Ground Floor. Also, in our case, the guest room door was the only light source with built-in windows which rendered the guest room slightly dark at times. Lastly, unfortunately, there have been 2 external events within the hotel during our 3-day stay which made it not possible for us to use the roof top and pool area and even hindered us in on case to access our guest room altogether as the event (wedding) took place in the public area leading to the guest rooms.
Location was perfect for seeing the museums and sights downtown. It is a very dense, hectic neighborhood but the courtyard design of the Downtown makes it a peaceful oasis. Breakfast was very nicely done with a small buffet of fruit and pastry along with choice of main dish from the kitchen. The building is a beautiful historical stone hacienda restored with obvious care.
The rooftop terrace with pool was closed all day Saturday for a private event, which was disappointing but didn’t impact our overall trip.
Absolutely gorgeous hotel in Centro Mexico City. Beautiful to look at, gorgeous art and very comfortable beds
There was very little lighting. It was very hard to see in the room let alone put makeup on! I had to use my phone light to see sometimes!
Absolutely stunning room with amazing view generally loved the hotel pool service and staff.
The air conditioning didn’t work. It was FREEZING!! I can’t describe how cold I was for 4 full days. This room is very dark and very large made of stone. Even in the day when it’s warm outside the room doesn’t get sun. It’s cold! It was 7 degrees outside at night sometimes colder and no heating at all. The most annoying part is that the room has a massive air conditioning unit with an option to heat up to 30 degrees (THAT FUNCTION DOESN’T WORK!) The lovely staff at reception gave me a little plug in heater that I spent all my time hovering over. (nowhere near enough to heat that suite) I would go for breakfast (only option is to eat outdoors which is also freezing) in two robes and a jacket the come back with ice cold hands into a freezing cold room and be forced as the only option to have a hot bath to warm up. For a £500 a night suite this is absolutely not ok!
