Close to everything
No isolation between rooms, steps can be heard...
Location was great but difficult to find via GPS. The breakfast was good!
The rooms we stayed in were quite dated.
The view and location was amazing
The room had a certain smell and the staff tried to get rid of it but still had an odor
Staff were so friendly and helpful will definitely be staying again! Short walk to restaurants and the grotto
Everything was outstanding
the hotel was lovely staff was so helpful very clean hotel 8 min walk to the gr
my room was at the back very dark a very bad smell in the bathroom think it was the drains , B/fast could be better it was basic for 10 euro but we had a lovely time thank you to all the staff .
We stayed here with a group of young people, while on pilgrimage to Lourdes. Our room although a bit dated was spotless. The staff were really amazing and helpful. David and Chloe were fantastic hosts. The food was really nice and they did everything they could to make meals great for our group. There are rooms on the lower floors have been updated, but what we has was great.
Stayed as part of a youth pilgrimage team.
PROS - beds were comfortable, great location and short walk to the grotto. Food was decent. Reception area is nice and staff are helpful and friendly.
CONS - only some of the rooms have been renovated, most are quite outdated. No fridge or safe and little room for storage for two people. Only two power outlets, one in room and one in bathroom. Small buffet available for breakfast, dinner is a set menu. Air con and balcony only available in some rooms. Only one room key provided. Some mattresses were quite stained.
Very helpful staff (Specially SIMONA)
We didn't get the Wifi Connection to the Room on the 3rd Floor. They said it was a technical issue, luckily we used our Roaming Data.
Nice hotel in the center of town...great view of the river up to the mountains if you're on that side....friendly staff and clean albeit very basic rooms.....would definitely visit again....ask for extra pillows...
Happened to book this at the last minute as we decided, on the spur of the moment, to take a drive down to Lourdes from Ronce les Bains for two nights and was definitely very pleased with our choice. I was able to park outside the hotel to check-in and then park at the free public car-park (10 minutes walk away). David and Chloe, at Reception, couldn't have been more helpful. Adequate and clean room on the second floor with walk-in shower and basic toiletries including hair-dryer. Sheets and towels were changed daily. Basic continental breakfast but very adequate and enjoyed conversing, in French of-course, with the lovely lady who served breakfast and who told us that she lived 40 km away. Free wi-fi also available. There is some noise at night from the young international helpers who gather at the river in front of the hotel but this didn't bother us as it wasn't rowdy. I think I'll make Lourdes an annual trip, since we are only 4 hours drive away, and will definitely go back to this hotel as it was, without a doubt, value for money!
Just had 7 days at St. Louis de France, hotel reception small and basic but clean. Rooms fine but can do with a few drawers . We had aircon which was great. Food ok, nothing to shout about but always enough. Breakfast 3 cereals, fresh fruit, tinned fruit and yogurt, ham, cheese, bread and jam and of course croissants. Lunch self service with lovely selection of salads and meat or fish with rice or different potatoes. Dinner: soup followed by main meal of meat with veg.
No kettle in room which would be nice
The highlight of this hotel is the staff, it is run by a small team who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and accommodate your every need. Nothing seems to much trouble for them and they should be praised.
It is a small walk to the grotto no more than 5/6 minutes, and plenty of bars and restaurants near by.
Amazing hotel, definitely more than a 3 star. Staff went over and beyond to help us in ever manner. Room warm, spacious, and spotless. Would highly recommend. Thank you to them all especially my king George. From your queen Marina ❤️
We spent two nights in this hotel and we were satisfied, despite of the fact the hotel equipment does not belong to the newest one we had quite fair room.
I am adding one star thanks to very good location to the Sanctuaire Notre Dame de Lourdes, to the Chateau Fort of Lourdes and to the city center at all. We also had a pleasant view from our room (street under our windows was quite busy, but we personally were ok with that).
To the hotel management, I would recommend to be more careful about cleanness in the rooms. We noticed that our trash can was not empty when we arrived. Maybe just a little issue but it spoils first impression. The rest of the room was clean and ok.
Just checked in and despite the website ad that claims all rooms have air conditioners, they do not. The entire 5th floor has none and my room is stifling and no fan or any way to circulate the air. Opening the window helps very little because it is over a courtyard. Staff says nothing they can do. In addition, on Check-in for our group, staff told us they would lock our hand luggage while we were awaiting our rooms. Instead they were left in a luggage cart in front of the lobby bathrooms until someone noticed and spoke up. I speak fluent French and interpret for the group, but they clearly don’t care. Maybe they should since the large tour operator who booked it will never use them again.
