Location, well appointed, helpful and friendly staff

This hotel is truly a gem. I visited Valencia Spain with friends in late June and early July, 2026. After a flight mix up, we did not arrive at the hotel unti 1:00 am and they were ready for us and got us up to our rooms immediately. The staff was phenominal! The hotel is clean and the rooms are extremely comfortable. We chose to have breakfast included which did not disappoint. Fresh fruit, cheeses and meats, bite size pastries which changed daily and were delicious. You could also opt to order hot food, including eggs and all the trimmings, porridge (oatmeal), etc., - all of which was very good. I would like to do a special shout out to the staff in the breakfast area. Sonya and Cat, those were the two women I dealt with and they were amazing. Sonya rembered our coffee preferences along with the regularly ordered foods. She was top notch!!!!!!! The hotel was very quiet and no issues with disturbing noise. The location is perfect and centrally located in the heart of Valencia's Old Town and easy to walk to and from much of the center. The lobby had a small bar area with bar seating and chairs and tables which was quite enjoyable to relax in. This is definitely a place I would return to and stay when I get back to Valencia Spain.

Excellent service, attention to detail, characterful

The hotel is the roll of the dice. Some rooms are magnificent while others are extremely loud. I stayed here several times, but this time I got unlucky and they put me in a room that actually touches the pool and overlooks the bar.

Really did not like getting woken up by loud German tourists, and afternoon siesta while kids were playing in the pool was not fun.

It’s a beautiful hotel with good service, but the noise issues make it where you have to be very very careful and they will not be honest with you if you ask for a quiet room. If they give you room 504 do not accept it. Some other rooms have balconies that overlook a children’s school playground so you have to be very careful with which room you get unless you like a lot of noise

Loved the location. Within walking distance to different restaurants and the market. Our room was spacious with a walk in shower and tub. Breakfast is exceptional with a wide variety of choices. Sonia spoiled us so much! To Pauline, Florian, Ali, and the rest of the team thank you so much for making our stay memorable.

The Caro Hotel is a beautiful modern hotel with old world touches throughout including part of the Arab Wall in the restaurant. The rooms are simple but so nice and spacious. Alejandro and the rest of the staff were absolutely wonderful! When we arrived Alejandro helped us with dinner reservations and using a map of Valencia, showed us the best way to navigate the city & where to go and not go. It was super helpful! Lots of lovely special touches in and around the hotel in addition to special treats brought to our room. The location is awesome too!
