Caro Hotel

An absolute gem and defining hotel of our stay. We had randomly found this hotel while zooming in and out on Google maps and looking through neighborhoods and gosh, what a find.

This is one of the oldest inhabited buildings in all of Valencia and the character and charm are unparalleled. The neighborhood itself is so beautiful and the staff are quite friendly and helpful as well, which is always a nice touch.

We were in the room style with the arabic tour which was a split level loft - bed upstairs, bathroom/shower/bath tub and little living room salon downstairs. They had a few welcome bites in the room when we checked in and were also super flexible about when they could pop in to clean the room while we were between adventuring and napping as a result of a cold.

We also somehow left our key IN the room door and panicked on check out but a good samaritan and/or housekeeping had seen it and given it to the front desk. This spot is located in a nice area with plenty of walkable sights and you can public transit around as well.

This was one of our favorite stays in our entire trip and I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a unique, charming, and interesting stay.

We had a wonderful stay, the staff we exceptional, very helpful and friendly. Recommended perfect things or do and an amazing authentic paella restaurant.

Brilliantly located in the beautiful old town and staffed by helpful, warm, likeable and very knowledgeable professionals who made our stay smooth, relaxing and super enjoyable. Our room was comfortable, quiet, clean and very dark at night which made for a good nights sleep. Nice (free) mini bar and excellent shower. Bed good. I’d highly recommend this hotel and would enjoy going back.

What a gorgeous hotel. I took my wife here for our 20th wedding anniversary. It is boutique, beautiful, has lovely history and amazing breakfast. I cannot say enough about this place, it is like a home in the charming old part of the city with a fantastic location. Oh and the staff are awesome - calling out Alessandro and Marta! THANK YOU X

Location was perfect for exploring , central yet tranquil.
All staff provides excellent customer service and have obviously been trained to a high standard -faultless
As friends travelling together we asked for twin beds which we got but weren’t aware the bath was in the same room as the beds and the shower door is see through . Mini bar is complementary with soft drinks and a packet of crisps , maybe if there are two people in the room the stock should represent that .
The minibar wasn’t filled up one day and we requested this but it never happened .
Tea and coffee facilities would be better in the room as every time you want you have to call down for room service .
We were unaware that room service was available as there was no menu left in the room.
The breakfast at €29 was very expensive.

Outstanding experience in every way

My mother and I had a wonderful stay at the Caro Hotel in Valencia in the days before the Fallas Festival 2026. The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk from the main cathedral and our room was nicely designed and well cleaned. But the true standout here was the staff! We were so grateful to get advice and help with reservations from so many members of the Caro team who were always kind, positive and ready to help. A special thank you to Pauline, Ines, and Giovanna! Even before we arrived, they helped us find the best restaurants and book táxis for my mother with limited mobility. A true gem in Valencia and will be back soon! 🙏 🙏 🙏

We are a couple from Toronto Canada. We stayed for only one night before a cruise. We loved this hotel. It’s right in the old historic area and staff are very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was very well equipped and breakfast was the highlight. Amazing.

We loved our stay. The staff were fantastic and gave us some great local tips, the room was really special, and the breakfasts with your lovely breakfast lady were the favourite part of our stay. Four nights weren't enough! We'd love to return.

I am in absolute awe of this experience. The quality of the hotel is exceptional, truly a once-in-a-lifetime stay, and the same can be said about the service. The staff embody the highest level of kindness, while also being incredibly helpful, attentive, and genuinely caring.
I cannot imagine a better place to stay when visiting Valencia. I recommend it to anyone who wants to fall in love with their hotel just as much as they fall in love with this beautiful city.

Nicely located in the old town. Super boutique: only 26 rooms. Lots of cachet among the remnants of previous buildings in the same spot. Perfect superior room. Very reasonable rate (during winter). Warm, friendly, client-focused service. Parking available. Hope to go back some day.

We have just returned from a short break in Valencia, stayed here in the old town.
The hotel and staff are amazing, professional and caring. We included breakfast in our stay which was lovely, good selection along with a menu for hot dishes cooked to order.
It was my husband's birthday whilst we stayed and I think every member of staff wished him a happy birthday, along with a nice treat sent to the room 😊.

A beautiful boutique hotel. Truly 5 star. The service is exceptional. The quality of food and drinks is excellent. The location is perfect, positioned in a quiet street but just 5 minutes walk to the cathedral. I booked direct. They set up an extra bed as there was three of us. Free teas and coffees all day long. Highly recommend.

The experience was super. The locations is simply fantastic. The Hotel is unique, historical, modern and quaint. Diego, Ines and Alejandro were exceptional. The location is in the heart of Valencia within walking distance to their colorful neighborhoods and historic sites.

Another perfect stay in this beautiful hotel. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Breakfast staff remembering your tea preference and offering a large selection of breakfast items including cooked to order dishes.
The hotel itself is steeped in history with Roman walls and artifac everywhere. There is such a peaceful ambiance.
Location is amazing . 5 mins walk to the Cathedral and many Squares where you will find tapas bars, coffee shops and Restuarants.
