Sehr freundliches Personal, sehr gute abendliche Küche.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen.

Pros:

Location for steam train. Young barmaid was very nice. Clean

Cons:

Breakfast had run out of food. Dinner was expensive and only 2 vegetarian options. Braised beef was ok but poor vegetables to accompany it.
Overall very poor value for money

Quiet, stunning location, comfortable, great food.
Pros:

The inn is very comfortable and loved the rooms for comfort and decor. Kasia on reception was brilliant with problems and the other staff were lovely too. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and a bonus to have them included in the price. The location is stunning and close to the railway station. We had booked tickets to Mallaig and discovered on the train that if you ask the guard, the driver will make a request stop at Lochailort, which is about 35 minutes from Mallaig. Worth doing if you are staying at the inn. There is a bus to Mallaig leaving in the morning too.

Cons:

The one thing that could have been better is that only one man was on duty to take orders for breakfast. All the guests came down at once and he was very good and did get our order to us quickly because we had a taxi at 8am and breakfast begins at 7.30am. However, we did feel it would have been good if the Inn had put an extra person on breakfasts.

Clean comfy and tasty food. Great nights sleep
Pros:

Manager called us to check arrival and to make sure the kitchen was open for us for dinner when we arrived
Rooms very clean and we were worried about the noise of the road as our room was at the front of the hotel but it was very quiet. We had dinner which was delicious with a nice bottle of wine after a long drive. Breakfast was great too. All the staff we met were very friendly. Would certainly stay again if in the area.
