Rather over priced.
Pros:

Great location (despite being by a road) in a beautiful area. Fun and friendly staff. Good breakfast.

The place was poor saved by staff.
Pros:

The welcome from Susannah was top notch. The food was delicious both dinner and breakfast was high quality. Externally and in the lounge the place looks clean and tidy.

Cons:

The beds and pillows were hard, the shower was poor. The TVs were pretty useless although Susannah did her best. The rooms are very basic. Noise internally and from the road was bad.

Lovely Stay
Pros:

Very comfortable stay surrounded by Highland mountains. The room and bathroom was a good size and bed was very comfy. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, which was really nice. Staff very approachable and friendly.

No complaints.

Fabulous dinner and breakfast, and great value for money. Friendly and professional staff. Really nice atmosphere, beds were comfortable rooms were clean.

Cons:

Lights in the restaurant could be dimmed as the evening darkens. Lager was just so-so, having been drinking Menabrea for the last couple of weeks.

Lochailort Inn was a perfect stay for a night before the ferry.
Pros:

Fantastic find with good old fashioned home cooking.lovely full Scottish breakfast. Rooms clean and comfortable. Great atmosphere and quiet even though on a main road to Mallaig.

Cons:

Nothing. Staff were lovely and helpful.

Sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Bett, gutes Abendessen. Frühstück ab Karte war gut.

Cons:

Ein wenig ungemütliches Restaurant. Recht in die Jahre gekommen. Bettwäsche hatte einen speziellen 'Duft' Frühstück vom Buffet war sehr mikrig. Cornflakes, Saft, Milch, ein paar Früchte... weder Brot, Toast, Butter, Marmelade... für uns zu teuer im Verhältniss zum Angebot und Lage.

The staff were extremely attentive, the food was good and the room was fine.

Cons:

Breakfast went a bit pear shaped as they thought they had finished so everything had been cleared away, they dod fetch us coffee and juice though. The cooked breakfast was cold and had a piece of bread and butter ( we assume in the absence of any toast etc ). Just a minor error but the room was quite expensive to be without a proper breakfast.

Amazing dinner, comfortable night of rest, delicious breakfast! Do not pass this one up!
Pros:

We arrived later in the evening and ate dinner there. BEST food we had on our whole trip was at this Inn! Wonderful staff, amazing chef! The dinner was exquisite and the breakfast was amazing! If you cannot stay here, at least stop in for dinner! The brisket was delicious, cullen skink soup, homemade bread, drinks, all of it top tier. Breakfast offered different options than other places also. My husband had the smoked fish for breakfast and I had french toast made with that same homemade bread and also some yogurt with homemade granola. Pics attached.

Really good stay
Pros:

Lovely inn, the staff were lovely and evening meals were delicious and homely

Cons:

The room looked like it was missing some little touches that would make all the difference, a little art on the walls and some softer touches, the room was comfortable but the odd throw, canvas, picture or chest of draws or a place to sit to get ready would just make a big difference though I would absolutely stay again. The guy that works in the restaurant/ bar with the long hair is an absolute asset and very polite and friendly.
