Overall, an excellent hotel in a great location. No top sheet is fitted, so you end up either too hot or too cold when you kick off the quilt—had to set the aircon very low so we didn't boil under the quilt. No hair conditioner... come on, Novotel, for a classy hotel... You supply a cheap 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner that is really more like a detergent. The bar drinks are priced very high...why it was always empty, I guess > staff #1

Pros:

Brilliant size pool, large rooms, nice breakfast and the hospitality by the staff was wonderful. Hotel is not too far from Jungceylon shopping centre which has a large number of lovely restaurants. A range of Indian restaurants in the local vicinity including the fantastic ‘Isha Restaurant’. The beach is a couple of minutes walk from the hotel.

Pros:

I came for a work trip and the employees were friendly and accommodating. The room was ready for check/in early which I appreciated but there was an area power outage until 5 pm that day. Room was really comfortable but unfortunately there was an ant issue above the luggage bench area. Otherwise very good. Great breakfast and had a great room service dinner. Huge pool area and good location for me.
