Pros:

There is a kitchen but that is sometime not clean. People cook and leave the stuff unclean behind. I think if a utensils wash machine is installed it would be a great addition.

Cons:

staff member was incredibly rude. all seemed very promising in the beginning, until a mistake that was made by the hotel, was blamed on me and had me jump through more than one hoop. when I asked if they could understand the frustration (and physical strain) this had on me, I was told to suck it up because "it is what it is and some people are just unlucky". guess if youre not booking the expensive rooms this is the treatment you can expect.

Pros:

Price. Card access to the rooms. Location. Staff -- both at the reception and the cleaning lady. A towel is offered with the bed linen. Staff offering a storage room as a replacement service for unavailable lockers, which they were always ready to open.

Cons:

No lockers in my room -- and no available lockers elsewhere! Mattress so thin/old, that it hurt to sleep on my side. (Luckily, the staff was helpful and gave me an additional blanket, which I have used as a second mattress.) One slat in the bed was missing. Windows to a busy street with ambulances/police cars at night. There were hooks for towels in the bathroom, but there were no tags/labels connecting them with bed numbers, so there were obviously too many too old towels hanging in the bathroom nobody wanted to change/take off.

Happy Hostel er en absolutt juvel!
Pros:

​Jeg kan ikke fullrose Happy Hostel nok! Dette stedet er en herlig oase midt i Berlin. Beliggenheten er perfekt, og det er utrolig enkelt å komme seg rundt i byen herfra.
​Selve vandrerhjemmet har en kjempefin atmosfære, og fasilitetene er topp. For meg som liker å lage mat selv, var det felles kjøkkenet et stort pluss – det er velutstyrt, rent og ideelt for å kokkelere. Her får du virkelig mye for pengene. Jeg kommer garantert tilbake!

.​"Kanskje har det ikke flere dører i gangen, men det hadde det før. Så jeg vet ikke hva som gikk galt med det. Men uansett, jeg synes at det går an uten det også."

More of a hostel and less of a hotel, but our stay was enjoyable at Happy Hotel
Pros:

Cleanliness and location of the place. It is located in a relatively quiet neighborhood, but with good access to S-bahn and bus services. Also, there are many interesting places to dine in around this hotel.

Cons:

Our room was not comfortably big enough for our long stay.
