Trip to Fairfield, Iowa
Pros:

I wanted to get acquainted with southwestern part of Iowa and northern part of Missouri
That's reason for me traveling to Fairfield, Iowa
Hotel was very nice, quiet, nicely remodeled, beautiful clean rooms, staff was friendly and helpful. Area of hotel is safe with a low crime rate around. Beautiful hilly scenery of rural Iowa close by. Good place to stay for weekend traveling.

Pros:

I was really disappointed to find out that the pool and spa weren't available during my stay. I paid the full price for a week-long visit and wish I had been informed about this in advance.

Nice room
Pros:

Our room was very nice. The downside was that the pool and hot tub were down for maintenance and the ice machine did not work. It would have been nice if the staff would have been allowed to give a discount or at these some free drinks at the small pub.

Best AmericInn Ever!
Pros:

First time to visit and stay at the Fairfield, Iowa AmericInn by Wyndham. Absolutely the best AmericInn that we have ever stayed at! Perfect rural setting yet close enough to the downtown area and shopping. The indoor pool is beautiful. Complimentary cookies at check-in. The desk clerk was very courteous. Morning breakfast offered many options. Totally impressed with everything about this hotel!

Pros:

There aren't a ton of options in the is town. This really does seem to be best bet. Easily accessed from the highway. Great prices. Good parking. Nice rooms. Clean. Bar on site. Pool. Quiet. Fine breakfast. Very friendly staff. I've stayed at AmericInn twice this month. I'm impressed with the chain compared to other comparably priced chains.

It was a great stay and would recommend it.
Pros:

Breakfast was really good, variety of breakfast foods. Pool was clean and was organized. Easy check in and out, staff was very friendly.

Cons:

Only thing I didn't like was tv shut off after so long on. Someone who needs back ground noise to sleep, it was very frustrating getting woke up multiple times a night to turn it back on.
