Service was grear!!! Food out of this world!!!
Belle architecture.
The property is mantained in a really excellent way, with appropriate care for the old, and with a sublte introduction of the newly designed furniture. Perfect balance. The size of the Chateau is also perfect - allowing it to be quite private and secluded. Excellent breakfast. Pleasurable experience in the outdoor swimming pool. Forest path was also a welcome morning discovery. Would return.
The only spoiler was the behaviour of one of the staff - Isabella, I beleive is her name, during our dinner. The setting for the dinner was really special, with lit candles and the food was good, but the lady made us feel ‘guilty’ for ordering just two main corses, wine and one desert. We tried to explain that we were actually not hungry at all, but she kept making faces! The younger lady at reception was very helpful and all smiles during the whole stay. Shame for Isabella, even when she disagrees, that shouldn’t be so obvious.
Also, menu in English would be somewhat helpful and welcome.
Altogether, a very pleasant stay, both my friend and myself would return.
Small but beautifully formed with excellent service and attention to detail from all staff and management.
Our room was well appointed despite its size which was determined by the original room size of the original castle.
The restaurant was excellent and so too the wine list.
Although relatively expensive our stay still represented good value for money in respect of location, ambiance and great surroundings
The parklands and forest walks were great for our dog who was also welcomed at the property.
Impressive building & grounds. Breakfast excellent. WiFi did not work
Très bel endroit
Prestations de qualité
Bonne table
Excellente étape
stylish Château and grounds next to motorway
Nice hotel, but the price mentioned is for a room and two adults(even though we booked for our two kids also) We had to pay a surcharge for 70 euro! Almost 250 euro for one night is too much.
This hotel is the ideal hotel if you want to explore the region or merely want to make a stop on the way further south.
The chateau is lovely and the rooms spectacular - we stayed in the top floor 2-plan family room. We had spectacular views
The most outstanding features is however the FANTASTIC staff which simply could be more helpful and friendly.
The restaurant is excellent as well serving all the local dishes.
The eagle eyed will notice that the chateau is close to the motorway but the noise is largely blocked by a hillside
Perfect stop off for journey break to the south or heading back to the north.
