Enttäuschend

Die Lage ist wirklich super.
Man kann die Innenstadt von Flensburg in 15 Minuten erreichen.

Cons:

Wir waren sehr enttäuscht von dem Hotel. Von außen sieht es nicht gerade einladend aus und von innen ist vieles in die Jahre gekommen.

Ganz schlimm war das „Spa“.
Laut der Hotelbeschreibung sollte es einen beheizten Innen- und Außenpool geben. Dieser war bereits im Innenbereich so kalt, dass man es keine fünf Minuten ausgehalten hat, von dem viel größeren Außenbereich mal ganz abgesehen. Entspannung war hier leider nicht möglich. Bis auf die Sauna, die draußen neben dem Pool ist, waren die drei anderen in Kellerräumen verbaut. Allgemein war es kein entspanntes Ambiente.

Pris og kvalitet hænger slet ikke sammen.
Pros:

Baren på hotellet fungerede fint med god og hurtig service. Vi fortryder at vi ikke spiste i baren.

Cons:

Aquapoint skuffende og ingen sidde muligheder. Få kroge til ophængning af badekåbe, håndklæde.
Buffet i restaurant €35 Pr person var det tarveligste jeg har oplevet i mange år. Tomme fade, dressinger, varmeretter der ikke blev fyldt op, på forespørgsel fik vi blot at vide af tjeneren at det ikke var mere. Pris, kvalitet og spiseoplevelse matchede slet ikke. Det var helt enkelt for tarveligt og det meget uengagerede personale hjalp ikke på totaloplevelsen. Her kommer vi ikke igen.

Ein toller Kurzurlaub im Hotel des Nordens.
Pros:

Gefallen hat uns das gesamte Paket vor Ort. Sehr gutes Restaurant und Bar. Das Essen, nicht ganz günstig aber lecker. Auch am Tage überall ein Kaffee und Snack zu bekommen. Das Hotel war sauber und ordentlich, was aber nicht über einen gewissen Sanierungsbedarf hinwegtäuschen kann.
Das Frühstück soll hier extra erwähnt sein, als wirklich richtig gut👌👌👌. Es ist an alles gedacht, was ein Frühstück im Hotel so bedarf. Das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet sauber und gemütlich. Den Balkon konnten wir des Wetters wegen wenig nutzen. Das Bad ist nicht mehr neu, aber alles heile und sehr sauber. Ein nicht jeden Tag Zimmer putzen lassen, wird einem mit einer kleinen Überraschung versüsst😉.
Sehr sehr positiv zu erwähnen ist der Sport und Wellnessbereich des Hotels. Ein kleiner moderner Fittnessraum kann benutzt werden, Knabberfische warten auf Füße zum abknabbern😀,Massagen können zu vernünftigen Preisen gebucht werden und nicht zu vergessen die verschiedensten Saunen wenn man mag. Das Schwimmbad ist sehr ordentlich, nicht klein und hat ein etwa 20x15m großes Außenbecken das immer auf 28Grad erwärmt ist. Abend nett beleuchtet, kann man bis 21Uhr seine Bahnen ziehen. Auch hier ist der Renovierungsbedarf zu erkennen, beeinträchtigt jedoch in keinem Fall die Nutzung und Qualität des Schwimmbades. Wir haben 5 schöne Tage im "Hotel des Nordens" erlebt, mit Ausflügen nach Flensburg und ins 30min entfernte Sønderborg in Dänemark(ein tolles Städtchen an der Ostsee, nur zu empfehlen).
Alles in allem haben wir tolle Tage erlebt, an denen uns das Hotel nett verwöhnt hat. Das Personal ist allerbeste und immer zur Stelle wenn sie gebraucht werden. Herzlichen Dank an das Personal und dem Hotel des Nordens. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Cons:

Ein einziger Wermutstropfen dennoch.
Was in der Buchung nicht kommuniziert wird, ist der Fakt, das dieses Hotel aus drei Häusern bestehen, die jeweils in 50 bis 100m zu erreichen sind. Anfänglich war ich da schon etwas verärgert drüber. Meine Frau und ich sind z.Zt. nicht gut zu Fuß, daher fanden wir es anfänglich etwas störend. Klar gewöhnt man sich dran und wie gesagt, die Wege sind kurz, passt am Ende.
