Location with sea view from bedroom was great. Separate private en suite for room 42 worked well. Plenty of public space in the hotel and bar. Room serviced daily.
Breakfast good but sausages and bacon on buffet tended towards being overcooked
Great views,dog friendly
The room we had had kitchen extraction vents outside of it.
Views and proximity to beach. The beach to the north of the hotel is widely recognised as a naturist beach but it was very quiet most of the time so I had no problem skinny dipping every day of our five day stay.
Dry and hard bacon and sausage, both from the buffet and when freshly cooked.
Beautiful location
Pleasant room - shame the bathroom was so tiny
Lovely helpful staff . Great breakfast
No fridge in the room
Would be nice to have some sun loungers in the garden
Everything was good staff are very nice..
None
It was in a lovely position and terrace to look out to sea . Really clean . Comfy bed and pillows. Meal was very nice the night we ate and brekkie specials very good. Staff all nice.
Our room overlooked a flat roof with smells from kitchen so not so pleasant. Could spend a bit of money and add some plants on that roof maybe?
The location, its set on the outskirts of Swanage so overall in a quieter area. Right next to the beach down steps and next to walks to Old Harry Rocks etc. the rooms were kept very clean and prepped each day to a good standard. The hotel has a good bar/lounge area to relax in as well as seating outside with and amazing views of the bay. It has a good car park so always managed to park there. I like the Green tourism aspect they have adopted, as I had to look after this for companies in the past I know it’s not easy but it’s also good business sense. I would use a place again who is doing this.
Very little to actually fault. At breakfast the bacon was always overdone, had to search to find some which was OK.
The view (sea facing room ) was stunning.
Food offered in restaurant of good quality and well cooked.
Breakfasts were very good..
Very comfy bed.
Elevator was a god send.
Beautiful gardens with views.
Small shower room.
Limited evening dinner menu.
Parking sometimes can be hit or miss.
Lounge furniture and carpets looking tired.
We loved our stay at The Pines. It was very clean and the view is amazing from the garden terrace. Our room was big and had a fan which was very welcome. Lots of tea and coffee options and a large bottle of water.
The shower next to our room was quite noisy.
