Perfect for 4 days in Berlin and much nicer than being in a modern huge hotel in the centre
Pros:

Breakfast excellent. Staff very helpful. Beautiful old building (faded elegance!) with a collection of modern art. Near an Sbahn Station so easy to get into centre of Berlin

Die Lage ist ruhig und leicht erreichbar. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist reichlich. Ich werde meine nächsten Aufenthalt sicherlich wieder dort verbringen.

Cons:

Das Bad in meinem Zimmer war Recht klein, aber für 2 Tage ausreichend.

Warm and comfortable hotel, pleasant staff, excellent location, great breakfast.
Pros:

This was our first visit to Berlin and the guidebooks advised us to stay in Berlin Mitte, but we liked the look of this hotel. We definitely made the right choice. It lies just west of the large Tiergarten Park which stretches to the Brandenburg Gate. It is located in a building from the late 19th/early 20th century with a marble hall and beautiful plaster ceilings in the entrance, dining room and sitting room. The hotel dining room looks out over the river. The rooms were warm and comfortable and the bathroom was quite new. The breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice. The staff were always pleasant and helpful. The location was excellent. The hotel is only a short walk (5 mins) from the Tiergarten S Bahn station and in two stops, about 6 minutes, you are right in the centre of Berlin. We have already recommended this hotel to friends and would definitely stay here again on a future visit. A tip, we bought the Berlin Welcome Card for public transport, which also gives you a 20% reduction on some tourist attractions. If you are visiting lots of museums it is also worth buying the Berlin Museums Card.

Die Fassade, das äußere lässt absolut nicht auf das in er schließen. Mit einer besseren Optik würde es mehr her machen.
