Excellent customer service
Our initial room was very hot but staff were happy to show us several rooms till we found a cooler one
Good location. Very pleasant surroundings. Very helpful staff who facilitated the storage of our cycles
No air conditioning in the room although an electric fan was an acceptable substitute
Lovely food. Very clean and comfortable room. Very friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble and very happy to help.
Rooms very warm but that was more to do with the heatwave then the plough fault. Have a fan in the rooms.
The bed was very comfortable the room very clean , tea & coffee good. Nice to have the pub below for evening meals. Location good for visiting surrounding area. Staff very nice.
The blind in our room was broken, the bathroom fan sucked in air and the room filled with smoke from a burnt pizza from the kitchen. The stairs carpet need’s replacing as has holes in it. No night manager if you have issues. Extremely noisy road.
This bad rating is not for the property, but for Booking.com failure to change the reservation dates.
I made reservations through Booking.com. The booking was for 16-17 July 2026 but in was posted by mistake for 16-17 June 2026. I though after contacting booking.com and speaking with an AI that the reservation was updated to the correct July dates, found out today (23 June) that the reservation was not updated. Today I again contacted booking.com and got the AI again, the AI could not help since it was past the reservation date. Also, I would not receive a credit for the booking so I could use it to make payment for the re-booking. I do have a new reservation for the 16-17 July and had to pay again.
Excellent attentive staff who couldn't do enough for us. Excellent food, they even coped with a table for 20 seemingly with no fuss.
Breakfast finishing at 9.30 felt a little early.
We booked The Plough Inn as it was close to my family members' home, and it exceeded expectations, the staff were lovely, the rooms were great with everything we needed, like tissues, a hair dryer and a fridge! Lovely rural view from my room. Breakfast was fresh and delicious
nothing, it was great
The food was excellent along with the room.
Room slightly hot but fan provided and the weather can't really be helped
All the staff were lovely. The food was excellent. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were great. The bathroom was spotless.
There was no light switch for the bathroom and the light came on automatically when the door was opened. This was great during the day but in the middle of the night it too much.
breakfast excellent. room quiet very nice bathroom. staff very friendly and helpful. food available in the evening also very good. Acess to things in that area of Norfolk is good
doesn't really apply
Breakfast was excellent, good selection and plentiful. Willingness to make modifications to the hot food. Well cooked and good quality produce. Evening meal was really nice and plenty of choice.
Only downside, when serving bottles of White wine make sure they are cold, and also put some water in with the ice in the ice bucket as it will help to chill it better.
Room was amazing, decor was lovely. Shower room was lovely and bright. Very clean and room had everything you needed. Staff were all lovely helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend.
Breakfast superb.Very tasty bacon and sausage.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Loved the funky bathroom tiles and great powerful shower.😄
A very nice feel to the whole place which we enjoyed.😁
The room was dark due to dark paint on the walls, but that is just a personal thing as my Mum has very limited vision so made it tricky for her.
