Automatic bathroom lights that come on when you open the door! I don’t like being blinded by light in the middle of the night - please provide a switch or pull cord.

Such an unexpected gem in the middle of Norfolk!
Coming from London, where hospitality can feel like a Russian roulette, I was honestly so impressed by how professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming the staff were -so much care went into both the food and the overall guest experience.
I stayed in the Junior Suite, which absolutely lived up to the name.
It’s kind of amazing to find this level of quality in such a peaceful, ‘middle-of-nowhere’ location. There are also great countryside walks right on the doorstep, and a bus stop just outside, which makes it easy for those who don’t have a car.
Everything was spot on, and the whole place felt calm and well-run.
It was very. Convenient for reaching other areas of Norfolk .
Food in the pub was very good and staff extremely helpful :-)

Radiator in bathroom was boiling and contributed to the room being hot, thankfully there was a fan supplied. I would suggest a voile for privacy to cover the window as it looked out over the beer garden. No air-con. (I would think anyone would struggle with the heat on a hot summer night without air-conditioning, it was about 17 degrees during the day and 10-12 over night when we stayed)

We liked absolutely everything about The Plough Inn, from the welcome to the farewell it was faultless. The room was well furnished, the bed comfortable, the bathroom had everything we could possibly need, and the breakfast was amazing. The staff were exceptional.

This is my fourth stay at the Plough inn, I've stayed in different rooms, they are all comfortable, clean and roomy. The food is very good and the breakfast is great. The staff are all friendly and helpful so I would recommend this establishment to anyone.
