Pros:

Very good breakfasts with good choice, the rooms were clean and tidy, bathrooms were lovely with excellent showers. All the staff were courteous, polite and very accommodating and very obliging going the extra mile to make sure we were happy. Special mention must go to Sophie, Bella, Harriet and Chrissie who were excellent -thank you.

Cons:

The Plough would really benefit from a comfortable lounge area especially for residents staying over.
The rooms were really hot so air con would have been a blessing. Fans were of little help.
The garden area needed tidying with better and more comfortable seating.

Lovely Quirky Country Inn
Pros:

Quirky decor (BANKSY FAN LIVES HERE), Welcoming country pub with good menu and excellent food.
All the staff were friendly and helpful .
It was a very hot night but we had 2 electric fans in our room and that was sufficient.
Very comfy bed and nice ensuite bathroom.
Plenty of car parking.Despite being a pub we had a good quiet nights sleep.

Cons:

The staircase to our room was a bit steep could be an issue for people with mobility issues.but not many steps to negotiate.
The window which we had to open to get fresh air was right above the beer garden and smoking area, so sadly the smoke came up and into the room. The rooms are non smoking rooms by the way.

Really nice place to stay unless it’s a hot summers day.
Pros:

Great location, nicely furnished room, friendly staff and good food.

Cons:

Room was too hot (it was 26 daytime temperature outside) and although a fan was provided we both had a poor nights sleep.

Cracking find!
Pros:

Perfect for a two night stay for work at the nearby airport. Staff were perfect, room was great and the food was top notch. Give me the Plough any day in place of a boring chain hotel.

Pros:

Lovely food. Very clean and comfortable room. Very friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble and very happy to help.

Cons:

Rooms very warm but that was more to do with the heatwave then the plough fault. Have a fan in the rooms.
