My stay in this hotel was truly enjoyable, as the moment I entered the lobby I was greeted with a relaxed atmosphere, clean surroundings, and staff who were genuinely attentive without being intrusive; the room itself was spacious, well lit, and had a cozy bed that made resting after a long day incredibly easy, while the hotel’s quiet location still just a short walk from great cafés and the historic center made it the perfect balance between convenience and comfort, leaving me with a very positive impression overall.

This hotel barely scrapes into 4 star. Unfortunately what you see is not quite what you get. From the moment we arrived there was something a little bit amiss.The front desk staff don’t really want to help you with your luggage from the car. There are drug dealers 10 metres from the entrance and at night they are out the front of the hotel well into the night. The location is excellent if you enjoy loud music and loud chatter all night. I feel they should really mention this on their website. You cannot sleep with the windows open. One particularly passive aggressive staff member, Simone, is a typical no person. Breakfast is a game of Tetris, as there aren’t enough tables to accommodate the number of guests. Breakfast is delicious. Mostly everything is available. Oatmeal is listed as part of the breakfast offer, but apparently not hot oatmeal. That will cost you an extra €10. Water comes with the room, but only if you ask for it.
The rooms are poorly configured with oversized furniture and enormous hot tubs in the bedroom.
Choose a hotel in the more upmarket part of town. Safer and quieter.

Every time I visit Italy, I always stay in Albergo Rossini and every time, they give me another reason to come back. I absolutely love this place; it truly feels like my second home. From the friendly reception staff to the breakfast buffet team and the cleaners, everyone is kind, welcoming, and professional. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality make every stay special. I just checked out today, and I’m already looking forward to returning in March. See you soon!

This hotel is honestly the best place to stay in Bolognal. Even though it’s rated 4 stars, it truly feels like a 5-star experience. Everything is perfect from the beautiful, comfortable rooms to the delicious food. The staff is amazing especially the reception team is polite, friendly, and always ready to help, and the people at the breakfast buffet are super kind and welcoming. Me and my family absolutely loved our stay here. Great value for money, perfect location, and wonderful service. Couldn’t ask for more!

I’ve stayed in 2–3 hotels in Bologna, but Hotel Rossini is by far the best! The breakfast here is just incredible. They have a wide variety of freshly made options from avocado toast to warm, fluffy pancakes, all prepared fresh in the kitchen. While our breakfast was being made, we enjoyed the Italian sweet buffet, and in less than five minutes our food arrived it was hot, fresh, and delicious. The lady in charge was super helpful, kind, and everything felt so professional yet homely. Plus, the hotel is right in the centre of Bologna, so everything shops, cafes, and historic spots was just a few steps away. Hotel Rossini gave me that exact vibe of Hotels in Great Britain, but with the charm of Bologna’s old walls around me. From now on, whenever I’m in Bologna, lt is the only place I’ll stay. Loved every bit of it!

My wife and I stayed in the Executive Suite at this beautiful hotel in the city centre of Bologna for a week, and it was an unforgettable experience. The suite itself was stunning, spacious, and elegant with every modern comfort you could imagine. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the bathroom spotless and luxurious. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of fresh options, and the hotel’s location made it easy to explore all the main attractions, shops, and restaurants on foot. Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. It was truly a perfect, romantic week, we can’t wait to come back! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a touch of luxury in Bologna.

We had a lovely 4- night stay at Albergo Rossini. The hotel exceeded all of our expectations! Breakfasts were fantastic and our breakfast hostess Alina was fun, charming, and extremely attentive to our needs. The service generally was exceptional.
Our rooms were very comfortable and quiet even though we had a very active piazza about a block away. The neighborhood was lively with a student-centric vibe. Yes, there were some sketchy characters at the edge of Piazza Verdi but they never bothered us or gave us cause for concern.
I would highly recommend this hotel. The setting and staff made us feel welcomed and at home.

The hotel was lovely. Staff was amazing. Shower was a little small for my husband. Neighborhood around the corner can be a bit intimidating with people yelling and such. But overall a fabulous stay. Breakfast was lovely.

A charming hotel, our room was spacious and comfortable.
The staff- everyone was so helpful, friendly, and went out of their way to take care of us. Alina made sure every day started off with a fabulous breakfast and a smile.

This hotel was top notch from the moment we walked in the door until we left two days later (I wish we could have stayed longer). Every member of the staff wanted to make sure we had a special experience, and we definitely did! The room itself was beautifully appointed; even better than the photos. The made-to-order hot breakfast was super delicious and it’s hard to believe it’s included in the price of the room. We highly recommend staying here!

Very central and extremely comfortable.
Maximo and Veronica were lovely, very friendly and helpful, as were all the ladies downstairs.
A young girl delivered some chocolates and cans of water which was great, but she came around at an awkward time when we were showering prior to going out. Consequently we missed her the second night sadly. Perhaps consider a better time to call?

Absolutely perfect hotel. Great location. The staff were very amenable and couldn’t be more helpful. The staff at this small boutique hotel made my stay feel very personable. They were keen to help with any queries I had. The quality of the appointments within it were of high standard and the breakfast menu had a wide variety of foods. It was easy to find your way into the central CBD from its location therefore putting you very close to the ancient city and there is a square close by for meals, apertifs and drinks however I did tend to go into the old city for them to be amoungst the city vibe and more ornate portico's. Thank you to staff for there professionalism in a friendly manner.

The staff was amazing. Very helpfull and kind. The bathroom smelled (shower, sink, bidet), we let the staff know and they tried to fix it but it didn't help sadly. Also the airconditioning was very weak. The room stayed warm so sleeping was uncomfortable. Breakfast was nice. Area was unpleasant but it was close to the center which is nice. The room was also very small.

This tiny hotel hidden on a side street exceeded my expectations by a mile. While small, my room was spotless and it had all of the amenities I needed for a brief stopover in Bologna. It is within walking distance of several lovely local restaurants and bars, and is about a 15-10 minute walk from Bologna train station and a 10-15 minute walk from the center of old town.

The staff were so very kind. Upon arrival, I had a handwritten note welcoming me to the hotel and encouraging me to ask the front desk for anything I needed. I ordered a glass of wine at the bar, and the front desk person wouldn't let me go back to my room without a tray full of chips and nuts to go with my wine. The breakfast was lovely - a buffet with pastries, cereal, fruit, yogurt, and egg and hot dishes made to order. I stored my luggage there and the staff called a taxi for me when I needed to go to the airport. Although much of this is standard procedure at most hotels, everyone I spoke to was smiling and eager to help me with any small request. The price was very very good and I am looking forward to my next visit already.
