Important information:

From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Please note that guests have to pay a deposit for incidental charges via cash or credit card pre-authorization upon check-in.

Sadly, not a place I would stay again
Pros:

The location was nice and the breakfast buffet was delicious. The staff was pleasant, but not super friendly

Cons:

Our room had a very foul smell when we entered, like smelly feet and body odor. The staff offered to spray the room with deodorozer, but it just masked the smell for a few hours. It finally went away on our second night. If they had offered us another room, I would probably stay there again. I do not recommend staying here.

Options in the Highlands are limited, this hotel is "adequate" but no more.
Pros:

Food onsite was good. (Luckily as other options were limited). Rooms were clean.

Cons:

Restaurant Manager was a bizarre chap who clearly slept in his suit. Hotel was a long way past its best days, very outdated and needing a coat of paint at the minimum. Highlands themselves are really not worth visiting in the rainy season as they close all the trails/ cloud forest at the first sign of dampness.

Great place to stay and explore the Cameron Highlands!
Pros:

The location was great, very close to tea plantations, strawberry picking etc.
The on site restaurant had great breakfast choices and was good for dinner too. The jam making class was a hit!

Pros:

Hôtel très classique English style élégance. Les chambres et salles de bain sont assez grandes. Le petit déjeuner varié et complet. Le dîner compris dans la demie pension propose la fondue asiatique (steamboat) en plat unique sans dessert.

Cons:

Malheureusement cet hôtel n’est pas bien situé en bordure d’une route très passante et donc bruyante même la nuit. Demander une chambre donnant sur l’arrière.
Restaurant halal donc pas même une bière.
Les sanitaires sont d’un autre âge et mériteraient vraiment une sérieuse rénovation. La salle de bains sent très fort le renfermé et ce n’est pas agréable.
Il n’y a pas de prise de courant pour charger un tel dans la chambre, seulement une dans la salle de bains, très insuffisant !

Bed is hard. Housekeeping are quite “stingy” to add on things like cotton buds. Iron connection to plugs must be checked as the iron can easily cut-off from electricity

Nice Hotel is A little outside where the tourists are, a rental-car is needed then everythings fine :) Yes Hotel is Hala

Some curtains and the floor need replacement, lots of stains. View was not really something. (working place / plastic hill / carpark x) Can be noisy when tuners drive by.

Nice quaint old hotel
Pros:

A quaint hotel.
Large room & a clean toilet.
A good attached restaurant.

Cons:

No airconditioning or ceiling fan. A ceiling fan would have been excellent.
A king-size bed would have been good with better pillows...
