Good stay
Pros:

Comfortable room but can see signs of wear and tear. Bathroom was a bit moldy and rundown but overall it was good and convenient to use. Strong working ac and in a good location.

Not so SUPER - Super 8
Pros:

Filtered refill water available, friendly staff at reception and accommodating cleaning staff, water pressure and temperature very good, lock safe available in room, location easily accessible from ferry jetty ( take free CAT shuttle bus to Komtar shopping plaza and walk ). Times Square mall has Nasi Kandar restaurant very delicious 😋
This is a functional room for 1 or 2 nights but I would not recommend for the price.

Cons:

Owner and management can easily spend money to upgrade old, dirty mattresses and pillows and linens, including towels! I never expect "luxury", however these items at this location desperately require a change! (I covered the pillow with my own beach towel to sleep) **Signage in the hotel denotes "No smoking" yet, everyday we smell cigarettes in the hallway and in our bathroom vent! We addressed with reception who states " in corridors people smoke ... AND?!? This is a fire hazard and prohibited 🚫- staff do not enforce. The smell is not a "left over" scent but an actual scent of someone actively smoking ! This wakes us in the night - we had to close the bathroom door to make it less 😒
