A perfect base for a stay in this special place.
Pros:

Spotlessly clean, we were lucky enough to have a corner room overlooking the Cloth Hall, which is an incredible view. The last post at the Menin Gate is a must.
Amazing shower and the delicious breakfast is a real bonus. Highly recommended.

Cons:

It a bit noisy with general street noise at night and first thing, but we like to have the windows open. You could easily just keep them shut and have a quiet time.

De eigenaar was een vriendelijk man en wist heel veel.te vertellen over de lokale geschiedenis van Ieper. De faciliteiten waren in orde, hygiënisch, bed oké en het ontbijt was goed..

Cons:

De kamer was qua oppervlakte niet groot, maar voldoende voor 1 nacht.

All good except the parking situation
Pros:

Nice room, excellent location, and typical European breakfast.

Cons:

Parking … particularly that my car was towed for parking Friday night in the square (Saturday market) when the front desk told me to park there when I checked in. They had a flyer on the wall (along with many others) - I don’t make it a habit of reading all the flyers and adverts in my hotel when traveling.
