Empfehlenswert ist untertrieben!
Pros:

Sehr schönes Umgebung, ruhige Gegend trotz S-Bahn in 1 Minuten Fußweg, große Parkplatz und wunderschöne Biergarten, alle waren sehr freundlich und das Essen sooo köstlich, schöne Innenausstattung, große Schlafzimmer und großes Bad, das Bett… galaktisch bequem.

I will stay here again if I have an opportunity.
Pros:

I have a dog and the hotel staff welcomed him nicely. It’s next to a fabulous forest and walking area, the S bahn and convenient to many places to see (Andechs, Munich, Starnberg, etc. ). Breakfast is nice and I liked the food and atmosphere of the Bierstube.

Cons:

I was charged for 1 extra day for the pet surcharge even tho I checked out 1 day early.

Waldgasthof Buchenhain ist immer eine Reise wert.
Pros:

Sehr freundliche Begrüßung, tolles Ambiente, spannende Inneneinrichtung, wo man ständig neue Ausstellungsstücke oder Bilder entdecken kann. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, sehr gute Küche und ein leckeres Frühstück.

Ich hatte ein extrem dunkles Zimmer mit einem schmalen Bett. EZ. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stand in keinem Verhältnis zueinander.

Auch gute Empfehlung für einen Zwischenstopp für eine Reise weiter in den Süden
Pros:

Sehr gute Lage im Münchner Süden. Bequem mit der Bahn ins Zentrum von München zu fahren.
Sehr freundliches Personal und gutes Frühstück Buffet.
