Son Mas Hotel Rural

What can I say about this amazing property? This was by far, a hotel that has exceeded my expectations, which rarely happens anymore.

The grounds are spectacular, the villa is one of the most beautiful properties I’ve ever seen. Every day we would come back to the property, I was amazed that I was able to stay in such a gorgeous environment.

The staff is also incredible, they get to know you and they really seem to care about your experience.

Absolutely loved this hotel, cannot recommend enough! It is exactly what you would think it is when staying in a villa in the countryside. I felt like royalty. What an amazing experience.

The grounds were exquisite and the pool area was a paradise. Overlooking an olive grove, with beautiful day beds. This is a place for folks who want to relax quietly and read. The dinner was so-so. I recommend exploring the area for dinner. A car is needed!

We came to Son Mas last year for six nights, half-board and rebooked immediately after we left.

Boutique high-quality hotels in the country is absolutely our thing and this lovely Son Mas Hotel Rural does not disappoint. From the stunning tranquility of the infinity pool overlooking open countryside to our beautiful suite with a private terrace it is just the most wonderful place to stay.

If you do go half-board, make sure you don’t have a big lunch.

I have had the great fortune to travel to many countries and stay in wonderful hotels. I can unequivocally say that this hotel is one of the best I've ever stayed at. The grounds are incredible, the views are breathtaking, the rooms are so unique, the service is impeccable, and the feeling of tranquility is like no other. It feels like you're in a very remote environment only to find yourself a short drive away from Manacor, beautiful beaches, and charming towns. I can't wait for my next stay.

Nous avons demandé aux clients pour les infrastructures de l hôtel (spa ,piscine .etc …)
Au petit dej , n hésitez pas à demander (omelette , pan cake ) . C est un hôtel où on vous laisse tranquille mais ne vous attendez pas à un service attentionnée et prévenant .

Food was awesome. Place was incredible - clean. Staff was super helpful. A great place to take a time out. Pool was incredible.

From meeting Ingmar at reception right through to the check out it was a wonderful stay. My wife and I use this type of boutique hotel all the time as our preference and Son Mas is up with the best of them. A huge junior suite as standard, massive comfy bed, lovely staff (big hello to Ingmar, Cynthia and Mercedes) give the feeling of space and quiet.

Breakfast; ample, varied and the cooked-to-order part was done very well, every single day.

Dinner; We took the half board, but be warned, do not have snacks before dinner because the portions are huge. We are proper foodies, so the cooking can be comfortably rated as good bistro standard with a touch of flair. The wine list is very well priced indeed but the by-the-glass options are too limited.

Grounds; just so open, so calm and superbly kept. It's a beautiful site to walk around and the farm house main building is elegant and inviting.

COVID; well done one and all, perfect. My wife is in the 'clinically extremely vulnerable' group and we both felt totally at ease.

Beaches; so close and easy to get to, all of them with ample parking, at least at this time of year (1st week October).

Beautiful property in very quiet surroundings. Breakfast and dinner excellent, waitresses were lovely and very helpful. Reception a little odd and not very visible. Beautiful pool and gardens. Rooms were excellent with their own terrace with lounges. Would definitely go back.

Lieu magnifique pour cette bâtisse historique située au coeur de la campagne majorquine (grand calme garanti, l'abri des masses touristiques des côtes de l'île).

Il y a de nombreux points positifs (le charme de l'endroit, la beauté du domaine, la très belle surface des chambres, dotée de terrasses ou d'accès au jardin, la belle piscine à débordement).
Malheureusement tout le positif est contrebalancé par de nombreux points négatifs :
- Service quasi inexistant (personne pour nous accueillir, pas de serviettes disponibles à la piscine, etc.) malgré un classement 4* Sup.
- Infrastructure vieillissante (matelas de qualité médiocre dans les chambres, frigo "honesty bar" près de la piscine hors d'âge)
- Carte "snack" au déjeuner digne d'un restaurant d'autoroute (et encore, on a rarement vu et goûté des sandwichs aussi tristes, tout de même facturés entre 8 et 13€)
- Connexion Wi-Fi de mauvaise qualité
- Rapport qualité-prix médiocre

Bref, l'endroit a de nombreuses qualités mais la qualité de l'expérience proposée pour le tarif (a minima 350€ la nuit fin juin / début juillet) ne nous permettent pas de recommander l'endroit. D'autres adresses à Majorque, dans une gamme de prix comparable, sont à privilégier.

Precioso, limpio el desayuno extraordinario. La atencion inmejorable. La piscina interior disponible las 24 horas , estar en ella al final del dia todo un lujo.
Un delicioso detalle al llegar con fruta y agua de cortesia.
Las camas muy comodas y un silencio y una paz en todo el hotel increible.
