Nice, cozy hotel, and attentive staff.
Pros:

Large, comfortable rooms, nicely decorated. Very good restaurant on site. Excellent breakfast. Located on a popular street in Quito. The staff is very attentive. Hugo, the hotel’s security guard, was especially helpful. We highly recommend and will definitely return to this hotel.

A real boutique hotel
Pros:

Everything was outstanding and everybody was nice and friendly except the manager who didn’t allow me a late check out despite the hotel being pretty empty and I could have used it since my flight left at midnight . But I would stay there for everybody and everyone else.

Staff was lovely. So quiet! We walked to dinner and though it felt perfectly safe they sent a security guard along with us who then returned for our walk home. They even sent us with packed breakfasts before our early flight (which we didn’t even ask for!) Breakfast was lovely the day we were able to eat there too.

I can't express enough how much I enjoyed my stay at this location. The service was better than any experience I've ever had. I actually cried when I had to leave. It felt like a family there. It was safe, clean and each room is beautiful. The garden surrounding the rooms is just so peaceful. I definitely want to come back again.

This is a beautiful hotel with attentive and caring staff. We felt extremely well taken care during our stay - the staff were so accommodating - helping us find restaurants and arranging transportation. The hotel itself is munificent with large comfortable rooms and well-designed public spaces. And, there was a free chocolate tasting in the lobby on the evenings that we were there! It is also conveniently located a short walk from restaurants, shopping, and plazas. While it's always important to stay aware of your surroundings - we felt very safe in this neighborhood. One thing to keep in mind - this is a festive part of town, so occasionally the roads around the hotel were shut down to accommodate bikers and street parties. This part of the charm of the experience; but it also sometimes made transportation to/from the hotel a bit challenging (but not terribly so) . Overall, we couldn't have been happier about our stay here and would absolutely stay again when we are back in Quito. Highly recommended!

Loved this gem of a hotel
Pros:

The hotel is small with the staff giving great attention to details. The room was large, beautifully furnished with a comfortable bed. The common areas were very inviting. We went to a chocolate tasting given by a young man whose family owns a farm. Well done! Taxis dropped us off at the door but with a map from the concierge we went out during the day and felt safe. We ate our meals here. The food was delicious and very reasonable. At the beginning of our Galapagos tour we stayed at another hotel in the main square area but this one was far better! The City of Quito museum is a short walk away.Excellent history from hunter and gatherers to present.

Lovely boutique hotel

This boutique hotel is on the outer rim of the old town. The rooms were spacious and clean and the the bathroom was the same. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food at the restaurant was delicious.
My breakfast was included and was delicious combination of fresh fruit, breads and made to order eggs. Had dinner and this also was delicious.
The Old Town is very hilly, with cobblestones - so best to wear sturdy shoes on walks. My ch to see around town - 2 days was a good amount of time to get acclimated to the elevation and see some sights.

Beautiful hotel, rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable and staff were very hospitable and accomodating.

There was no morning coffee/ tea in the hotel unless you paid for a full breakfast buffet.
