We were only there for 2 days so it was ok
We had booked an evening meal on Saturday for 5 people ( us and 3 family members) We wern't told when we booked that the meal would in the bar area, and that they were showing ' Football' The place they had seated us was directly under the television set. Also my husbands meal didn't arrived until after the rest of us were nearly finished and then only because we asked twice where it was.
There were obviously not enough staff on that night, and if the manager hadn't stepped in I'm not sure how long we would have waited.
This is a lovely Hotel in a prime postion, but if they don't up thier gain it will go downhill very quickly.
Excellent hotel with a comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff. The room was very clean and furnished to a high standard. We had a strong shower, lovely towels and a very comfortable bed. We spent some time in the lounge area having a drink, a pudding ( we had eaten tea at our daughter's) and reading. All very pleasant and the location meant we were close to care for grandchildren the next day.
Nothing at all. We have visited many times and all the rooms have been very good. The food has been good in the bar and when we have had them the breakfasts have been excellent.
All the staff had a friendly face with a smile, and were pleased to serve you.
The reception is light and airy, as are the other public places.
For me the bed was too firm and I didn't get a great night's sleep.
But there's my opinion.
If you prefer a firm mattress then it'll be ok for you.

The Hotel, The Staff, The Room and having a relaxing bar meal in the evening. The Hotel maintains a very good standard and is highly recommended.
The bar staff could be a little more obliging. It was not busy but I was entertaing 6 people for a drink with little help from the bar. I was happy to acknowledge any assistance to bring the drinks to the lounge but this proved difficult.

Beim Buffet Vieles nicht zu haben oder erst bei Nachfragen später vorhanden, das heißt wenn man fast satt ist.

friendly staff, efficient check in. small garden to enjoy drinks from bar. good breakfast ( buffet plus choice of cooked breakfast/ smoked salmon/ pancakes etc). next to petrol station which was handy to buy newspaper or snacks. on site bar and restaurant for bar type meals. nice indoor communal areas with wood panelling, fireplace etc. able to get uber to glyndebourne for approx £30
only minor things eg quite a hilly walk ( or £8 taxi) from station. had to wait a few minutes for staff to come to bar.
