Nice hotel great location
Pros:

Booked here to visit the Bluebell steam line for dinner and nearby Nymans National Trust property. We came with friends. The hotel is ideally located for many excursions.

Friendly welcome. Rooms both suitable. Lovely breakfast.

Nice but unhelpful air conditioning
Pros:

Clean and fresh decor.

Cons:

I was woken at 5am by the air conditioning system on the roof outside and wasn't able together back to sleep.

Being on a busy main road off a roundabout not a place for a quiet stay.
Pros:

Fair selection for breakfast except fried eggs were overcooked on both occasions. Waitress very helpful in finding some oat milk for cereal.

Cons:

Ground floor room was quite small with twin beds, the duvets were very thick possibly winter ones which were not pleasant in the current warm temperatures. Unfortunately, the room was next to the staff room which meant there was a lot of talking very late at night and early in the morning!
There was no walk in shower only one over the bath which was a challenge even with the grab rails supplied, ie trying not to slip again.

Pros:

Die Spontanität des Hotels passte absolut zu meiner spontanen Buchung eine knappe Stunde vor Ankunft. Das Zimmer und das Bad entsprachen voll den hier hinterlegten Bilder und war wirklich sehr schön. So schön, dass wir gleich noch eine Nacht verlängert haben 🤩 Das Frühstück war vielfältig und das Klima im Zimmer sowie die Betten perfekt zur Erholung. Besonders beruhigend für uns war, dass dies das erste Hotel auf unserer Küstenroute von Ost nach West mit einem eigenen Parkplatz war.

Cons:

Nichts zu beanstanden.

Lovely Hotel. Ample easy parking. Very comfortable rooms
Pros:

Comfortable enough room. Was very appreciative of the bottle of water everyday. View wasn’t very exciting, but it was a lovely quiet room. Beautiful Hotel

Cons:

Carpet could have done with a hoover half way through.

The restaurant is never open so only able to eat in the bar. With a very basic choice. Have stayed before so now eat out.

Staff not aware of gluten free options at breakfast..asked if hash browns gluten free... staff went to look but didnt really know on return....maybe some gluten free options schar do a nice croissant and single sachet cornflakes...bread was tiny and only toasted on one side

Comfortable, welcoming and relaxing
Pros:

Very friendly, helpful staff. Willingly moved us to a quieter room. Comfortable room and v pleasant public areas.

Cons:

Only the WiFi - no one's fault but the hotel was experiencing some difficulty at the time.
