My Experience at Artotel

Pluses:
- The staff were definitely very friendly.
- Breakfast was quite varied. Taste really depends on your preference, but the combo of lodeh manisa with fish was kind of unusual—still, it turned out delicious.
- Facilities were good, the room was spacious and fairly clean.
- The coffee machine was super helpful, especially since I love americanos.

Minuses:
- The shower in room 818 was broken, the water came out way too strong. It honestly felt like showering under the Coban Rondo waterfall.
- A new experience for me: when I asked for ice cubes, Room Service said I’d have to pay extra. That was a bit surprising, since in most hotels I’ve stayed at in Surabaya, ice has always been free. Maybe I’m just too used to free ice.

Overall:
I still really enjoyed my stay at Artotel. My kid especially loved the new experience of soaking in the bathtub while watching TV.

Our three-day, two-night stay at Artotel Wanderlust Surabaya as a couple was overall very positive. The hotel successfully creates an atmosphere that is ideal for couples—comfortable, aesthetically pleasing, and full of character.
The room was clean, modern, and creatively designed, making it very Instagram-worthy without compromising functionality. All room facilities such as air conditioning, shower, and toiletries worked well. Housekeeping maintained cleanliness consistently throughout our stay.
The lounge and restaurant areas offer a comfortable and relaxing ambiance. Breakfast selection was varied with satisfactory quality. The overall atmosphere reflects an artsy concept that appeals to couples who appreciate design and creativity.
The experience and facilities provided are well aligned with its four-star rating. The hotel’s artistic concept adds significant value to the overall stay.
The hotel is strategically located in the heart of Surabaya, providing easy access to culinary spots, shopping areas, and entertainment venues. It is suitable for both relaxed itineraries and city exploration.
Some public areas feature bold visual themes. While visually attractive, they may feel slightly overwhelming for guests who prefer a more minimalistic or calm atmosphere.
On certain evenings, the music volume in public areas was a bit high, which could affect guests seeking a very quiet environment.

It was last minutes booking. Since i had rescheduled flight from the airlines. But the hotel could help me with the early check in. All staff are friendly. The security also kind. He help me with my bagage from the car.
Nice and clean hotel. Very recomended.

The staff is very helpful, the parking lot is sooo wide and empty, its basement though so we dont have to get wet if its raining, overall good job

Artotel TS Suites still one of my favorite hotels to stay in Surabaya.
Room was good, can be a bit clean though, i still can see uncleaned corner and bed sheet need to be checked more detail.
Staff were friendly and really helpful, as always.
Artotel do have a good room, but please add more amenities and please make the room smell nicer (fragrance can be using lemon-gras, or some sort).
Last thing, please provide jamu again, i like it...a lot...

I love how the room was super spacious and came with a bath tub. The internet connection was good, the atmosphere was nice. Close to the hotel, there’s also a supermarket and a fast food chain. The light was a bit too dim, but still nice. I’d love to stay here again if I were to visit Surabaya in the future!

I’ve stayed here before, back when their name’s still just TS Suites and Sutos was still operating, and now i’m back with my family. Even though Sutos currently looks like an abandoned building, the TS hotel is under a new management by Artotel and it maybe even more artistic than before.

It has art space with some paintings, a BTS merch corner (ARMY will love it), etc. The hospitality was great, from check-in to check-out, everything was handled smoothly. The room is still as nice as i remember. There is a bathtub separated by a sliding door from the bedroom, so you can soak while watching TV. The shower and toilet are separate, and there is a hair dryer in the drawer.

The room is spacious, clean, and comfortable. They provide water refills, and if you need extra amenities like tissue or coffee capsules or wanna borrow cutlery, you can simply ask and they’ll provide them. One thing i like is that they always answer in a friendly and polite tone, NO cynicism, rudeness or snappiness in their attitude. That’s a great hospitality indeed.

The price is worth the facilities and the hospitality.

Great rooms, with a friendly and quite helpful staffs... Bath tub in room is great .. room ambience is comfortable, strategic location .. i just cant find the hair dryer ... Everything else is great

This is my umpteenth vacation with Artorel Ts Suite Surabaya, it was very enjoyable because the cleanliness of the fragrant room was very comfortable in the nose, the staff were very kind and friendly when serving plus the creativity of decorating the glass in welcoming guests !! Thank you very much Artotel for making my umpteenth vacation a very beautiful and perfect value

I'm requesting for early checkin and the receptionist named Steven really helpful about it. I'm able to checkin early at 11.30 while the original checkin time is 14.00
