The location
Even if the breakfast was tasty the variety of food was basic,
Very close to all the beautiful sights in Old Town. This hotel is right within the Palace which made it special.
A bit smaller but cosy
Breakfast was fantastic- really good - best I have had in a Hotel buffet style
The property was located in the heart of Split. The location was extraordinary. We had everything close: restaurants, bars, shops..the location amazing.
The room wasn’t exactly what I saw in the pictures but it was nice and clean.
Unfortunately we found some issues in the room:
-The doors were not closing properly, we had to struggle sometimes to close it.
-The breakfast was good, but there were flies flying around the food which I didn’t find it really hygienic…
-The staff was okay, but I was expecting more connection from them, more dialogue.
Terrible, coffee was undrinkable
The fact that we were given a room that had a broken toilet and they couldn’t be bothered to fix it, no other rooms were available! We had to use a public toilet, in our pj’s which was filthy and smelly, luxury hotel ??? Staff couldn’t care less as we had no other option due to the time of night. Terrible service
Awesome location and staff and breakfast and price!
A hotel guest that was staying next to us that could have more intelligent, but that’s ok!
Clean room.
This is not a luxury hotel, despite the name. Firstly, whilst the front of the hotel is secure, the back is not and anyone can gain access to the rooms through a perpetually open back door. Secondly, we paid quite a lot, in Split terms, for a nice room. This room was above a restaurant on one side and the street on the other, with no soundproofing in the room it sounded like any person on either side was right there next to you. Moreover, this was advertised as a jacuzzui bath, which it was, but this was at the sacrifice of a wall mounted shower, and if you did want a shower you were at the wrong end of a fix slanted wooden shutter, so the passing foot traffic gets a good view. Lastly, the included breakfast, awful, cold "warm food", watery coffee, and a general vibe of "why are you here" from the staff. In short, don't bother, better hotels with equally good locations.
