Schooner Hotel

Schooner Hotel is gone. Unfortunately this hotel was demolished January 2025. The land has been leveled Not sure if there are plans to rebuild in the future. Great views right on the beach and with additional parking across Gulf Blvd there is potential for a rebuild.

Exoedia let us book ghis hotel even though was jusr destroyed by Hekene. Money not refunded yet. Taking action asap afainst Exoedia and Schooner as both are unresponsive to my messages

Hotel unavailable—we did not get our reserved room, so we should not be charged anything either!

We were unable to speak with anyone at Schooner Hotel before or after our booking. we were forced to book another hotel for the same dates. police would not allow any visitors on Golf Blvd. due to clean up of Hellen damage. I believe the Schooner hotel was flooded at the time we made our reservations.

Good location Property needs full updating outside and inside

The Schooner Hotel is a quaint little hotel right on Madeira beach. The staff was so friendly and so accommodating and made our trip you wonderful. It is an older building, but the rooms were clean and bright and it was so easy to feel at home here.

Always love staying here. Just steps from the beach and my fave hangout, The Reef! Early check in, room was clean, comfy and cold ac! Staff is always great! Will be sad when it’s torn down and they build the high rise building.

Very happy with the location. Right on the beach. Friendly service. Parking included. Building is a little run down but very much enjoyed our stay!!

Staff was very nice and accommodating. Gave me a refund and called their sister hotel for a room. It was great. No hassle or issues. The place did not match pictures—old and a bit run down. Looked like a place a lot of construction workers stayed at. Saw many drill battery chargers,

Great little efficiency! On the beach!

The property is old but so easy to feel at home and safe here. Close enough to food, walk down to the beach and shopping.
I love the small hotel feeling.

beautiful rooms, everything was perfect!!

The room has a beautiful view of the sea, but it is very small. The bathroom is extremely small.
The refrigerator is far from the kitchen, and the toaster lacks a power outlet. The only outlet is occupied by the coffee maker, and the toaster's cable does not reach it.

Extremely easy check-in! Very quiet! Right on beach! Clean! Wonderful!

Amaizing, just few feet to the beach nice and friendly staff.

Le doy 4* solo porque es una propiedad que definitivamente necesita reparacion. Pero por su ubicacion le daria 5 *. Muy conveniente esta justo en la playa. El area tranquila. Ropa de cama y toallas limpias mas bien nuevas. El check in muy facil, rapido, la habitacion lista hrs antes del tiempo previsto. Es la cuarta vez en este hotel y sigue siendo mi favorito para escapadas de fin de semana.

So ceiling in shower is falling down shades broken there was a microwave but no plug to plug it in the view and closeness to beach was the only good thing at location they allow parties to go on until 1am
I live in the area and go to a different small privately owned hotel/resorts on the beach monthly and so far I have been to 8 and this one is by far on the bottom it’s a shame as they have the potential to be more with very little investment
