Important information:

Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions.
A damage deposit of XOF 100000 is required. The host charges this 7 days before arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 14 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property.
A Gala Dinner is mandatory and not included in the room rate for the nights of the 25th December and the 31 December.

Gala dinners prices:

-24/12: 50.000 XOF per adult and 25.000 XOF per child (under 12 years old). The dinner is 1/2 for all Full board formula reservations.
-31/12: 60.000 XOF per adult and 30.000 XOF per child (under 12 years old). The dinner is 1/2 for all Full board formula reservations.

Ça c’est bien passé sauf avec un personnel qui a gâcher notre séjour

Le spa , l’environnement de rhino et surtout le personnel j’ai retenu même quelques noms tellement qu’ils étaient gentils Coumba , ablaye et fall

Cons:

Y’a un Barman qui s’appelle Omar il n’est pas du tout respectueux . Il était très désagréable avec nous , il nous a mal parlé et son comportement n’était pas du tout professionnel . Il nous a fait voir de toutes les couleurs durant toutes nôtres séjours il devrait revoir son comportement avec les clients en plus il osait dire aux autres devant nous de ne pas nous servir

un 5 étoiles qui a perdu son standing
Pros:

Bel endroit, belle chambre, mais manque cruellement d’entretien. Le poids des ans a fait son œuvre… Par exemple, la salle de sport est en très mauvais état, avec du matériel quasi hors d’usage. Le service de chambre est bon, sauf pour le mini-bar, qui n’a jamais été approvisionné du début jusqu’à la fin du séjour.

À l’accueil, c’est le chaud et le froid : parfois, le personnel est agréable et souriant, et d’autres fois, on a l’impression de passer la porte d’une prison. C’est dommage, car il ne manque pas grand-chose pour que cet établissement 5 étoiles retrouve son standing.

Lovation was cenyral, SPA and massage facilities and services were good. Staff is friendly.

Cons:

Old, rundown, stuffy and very dark rooms with no windows (lights only). Poorly maintained rooms. Well over priced.

I would highly recommend, especially for the lion walk. A one of a kind experience.
Pros:

They went the extra mile for my husband birthday, I’ll be forever grateful.

Cons:

We didn’t see many animals during the safari, apparently it was the time of the year. I would have preferred to not be suggested to do that.

What a big disappointment it was!!! I go to Saly twice a year. We usually stay at Royam Hotel. This time we decided to give Rhino a chance because their website description of the hotel is very appealing. For instance I wanted to take advantage of the hot tub they advertised but actually do not have. The worst part is that I got food poisoning after eating their breakfast, especially the scrambled eggs which were very wet. On Sunday I waited for over 15 minutes for a cup and a mug in order to pour some coffee and some orange juice. I eventually gave up on the orange juice. I was not the only one. Besides they are very expensive.
