From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Avoid if you want to to have your curtains open
Pros:

It is a pretty nice hotel. Nice furniture. Brekfast nothing short of amazing. Perfect location too.

Cons:

Room was clean OK, but window was completly covered with bird's excrements 😛. So, with stomach full of beautiful breakfast I was ready to spew when I was looking through it (see pictures).

Window closing mechanism practically didn't exist (it was hanging loose and could be ripped out without using any significant force (see pictures).

Handle of the door connecting neighbouring room was almost ripped out of the door. Definitely, this did not help to feel secure and the look of it... (see pgoto).

Staff members (cleaning crew and other support people) congregate next to hotel lift in front of vending mashine. Every time I went by, I felt like I was intruding on their private space...
