Pros:

Amazing breakfast

Cons:

Lock to our room doesn't work, so we needed to use normal key so it wasn't really comfortable,

The worst was that receptionist didn't tell us about really expensive currency conversion so we paid almost 50 usd more!!!! It shouldn't happen ever

Extremely overpriced - it is a 3-star hotel max
Pros:

Breakfast - buffet-style with wide variety of food and drinks - you also get your customised eggs, pancakes or waffles which was great.

Cons:

The reception staff was all over the place - I had a few incidents where I reported an issue and it wasn’t resolved or I was provided with misleading information. For instance, I had to chase a few times to get an invoice after my stay, as the reception couldn’t issue one (!?) and the account department issued it initially incorrectly. The communication and processes are lacking, hence the customer service is flaky and unreliable.

The hotel, whilst it has a historic touch, feels run-down and needs maintenance. I find it bizarre that in a 5-star hotel you’re expected to pay for a coffee in your room. My bathroom was dirty and despite flagging it to reception, it hasn’t been cleaned, and only after going a second time to reception, the receptionist himself started mopping the floor (I appreciate the effort but it was done poorly).

I don't think it’s worth overpaying for such a service, as neither the facilities nor the customer service is 5-star.

A haven of tranquility in a beautiful building
Pros:

Samary Hotel is a lovely place set around a grassy courtyard with views across the rooftops to the cathedral and main square. Staff were very helpful making all sorts of recommendations for restaurants, day trips and more. Breakfast was excellent including freshly made omelettes and pancakes. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Tolles Ambiente, sehr guter Zustand, bestes Frühstück und freundliches Personal. Was will man mehr?
Pros:

Cons:

Es gab nichts zu beanstanden.

Pros:

The breakfast had a good variety of tasty items with some wonderful local food. The location of the breakfast room was absolutely stunning with gorgeous city views.

Cons:

The Samary Hôtel's location was great, easy walk to the city center as well as the onverlook at the top of the hill. Wonderful restaurants close by. The property is absolutely stunning with a gorgeous courtyard and a patio on the second floor. The overlook of the city is breathtaking.
