Disappointing Experience
Pros:

We stayed at Hampton Inn in Dodge City,KS on March 8 and it was great. The total price for the room was $188.85. When we were going back home on March 17, we made an effort to stay there again. Supposedly they had only one room left, Room 201, so I booked it for $327.06. We came to find out that a large flock of pigeons roost outside on the window sill 3’ away from the bed. The constant noise and tapping on the window made for a restless and sleepless night.

I asked the front desk clerk if the room was reserved for the next night, trying to point out that the whomever got the room might not appreciate all that noise outside the window, like me. She said that they know the pigeons are a problem and they are working on it.

I am so disappointed that they knowingly set us up in a room that had a problem. Personally I would rather be told that there were no available rooms than to be booked in a substandard space. I would have found another room somewhere else probably much cheaper than $327.06.

I typically look for Hampton Inn hotels when I travel, but this one has me questioning the integrity of this chain of hotels. At Dodge City Hampton Inn they apparently care more about getting every elevated room fee on a busy night than making sure their guests have a pleasant stay.

Great time

We had a great time at the Hampton Inn Dodge City!
The best part was whenever we had a question or needed something Kensi was there at the desk to help out and provide the needed help.

Truly a great home away from

Excellent location, just on the edge of the bipass only 7-10 minutes from any any all in the city, away from any city traffic , quiet area, yet right next door to the boothill casino with an excellent restaurant, the arena is on the same venue grounds that hosts many great shows and concerts, spacious clean modern rooms and the staff offer to be at your beckon call for any local information amenities or needs during your stay, it makes travel from home make you comfortable and home away feom home , spacious rooms with all the luxuries you would like and more, the place to stay and be when in Dodge City area, you truly feel as if your family here

Analy is the best!!

We rolled into Dodge City for a 25-guy bachelor party and stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites—honestly, it was a solid choice and the staff made it way better than we expected.
Big shoutout to Analy—she was an absolute rockstar from check-in to check-out. She handled our big group like a pro, had everything set up ahead of time, and gave us legit local recommendations on where to eat, hit up bars, and keep the night going strong. (Her tips were spot-on for a rowdy crew.)
The morning after our big night out, the staff had bottles of water ready at the front desk for the hungover squad—small gesture, but it was clutch and much appreciated.
Clean rooms, good breakfast spread, convenient spot near the action. I'd 100% recommend this place to anyone doing a group trip or event around Dodge City. Thanks again to Analy and the team—you guys made the weekend smooth and memorable!

Cons:

3 times no hot water. Finialy waited approx 10 min with water running and Finialy got some. Moms room ac didn't work neither did the blinds. Had to use her shower twice
