elevator not working
Pros:

Elevator not working for weeks before we came and we were not notified. Had to carry luggage upstairs ourselves as no one helped and we are n our 70's. Door on side of building was propped open and anyone could come in. Noisy.

Gotta take the good and the bad.
Pros:

Close to where we needed to go. Easy to get to. Bed was comfy and pillows to.

Cons:

Very small room, no freezer in fridge for our coolers ice packs, tile floor in bathroom was cracked in front of toilet, and by the sink, elevator was broken down, breakfast was so-so. Branch on trees outside of windows rubbed against the windows at first scaring us, then was annoying off and on through the night. Was pricey for the room we were in. In the morning it smelled VERY STONG OF POT in the 1st floor hall and somewhat strong in the 2nd floor hall

I was comfortable and peaceful at Sleep Inn in Kalamazoo.
Pros:

It was close to Western Michigan University. It had a good breakfast, the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable.

Cons:

The plug in the bathroom sink didn’t work. The ice machine didn’t work. Otherwise it was fine.

Pros:

Closer to my job because my power went out

Cons:

Not clean, bedding with dirty and had stain, no way to stop the tub up because there wasn’t a stopper in the tub and I had a 3 + 4 year old who were too little to take a shower. Then the staff member went into the kitchen and got a kitchen stopper out the dirty sink and told me I could use that when you could clearly smell the stopped had been in dirty dishwater. Meth heads thoughout the halls all night and had a very dirty smell to it.

Clean, quiet hotel. Friendly staff, good breakfast.
Pros:

The location of the hotel was close to restaurants and stores. It was also close to my son’s off campus apartment.

Cons:

Somehow I got 1 bed instead of 2 beds and I was told they were full so I couldn’t change. My son and I shared a bed.

I loved it
Pros:

Clean, friendly staff and breakfast was exceptionally good

Cons:

The Sheriff department was at the room next door with the K-9 and hotel staff was at their door saying housekeeping but the police was outside the door too, she tried to open the door for them but the person inside had the door latched but eventually came out and was arrested
