1. Common areas i.e. corridor and lifts, smelt musty and stale.
2. Bathroom (especially shower stall) was grimy.
3. There was no bottled water in the room.
4. There was no shaving kit.
5. It was noisy till late at night.
6. Staff could be more helpful.
7. There were flies buzzing around the breakfast buffet. The food was not covered at all times so this presents a hygiene issue.

Excellent Customer Service and value for money.

The room was clean. Staff was prompt when called. A lot a local activity outside the hotel doors. The room was very basic, no where near as elaborate as the advertisement photo. There was a leak under the bathroom sink.

The hotel is great place to stay on Jalan Alor which is a street full of open air restaurants and stalls.Staff are helpful rooms are clean but the hotel restaurant and staff there need plenty of improvement

Nice location for food and shopping. Very nice. Hotel rooms are ok.

The room is cleaned but the towel is dirty. There is noise from neighboring rooms. Parking is limited, and the area around the hotel is very congested. The employees are very kind.

Don't let the exterior of the building and common areas fool you. The room is as good as any North American average hotel room. Parking can be a pain due to the location right off the busiest park of Jalan Alor.

For the convenient location, the clean and maintained room, and the friendly staff, this hotel is a great value.

Convenient

The room was very run-down. The bathroom, in particular, was not clean; it felt very grimy. The towels were not clean. The floor (hardwood) was dirty. We kept having to ask for toilet paper. The TV had a bad reception for local channels and offered no streaming services. Good location for food, if you're after street food from Jalan Alor, otherwise-- stay elsewhere.

The facilities were good, and the location was great, although difficult for vehicles to come in during the evening because of the street closure (street food) on Jalan Alor. Amenities were wanting, breakfast was ok but not good.

Close to night market. Close to pavillion and MRT. Very convenient

A Lor is an excellent location with lots of eating options. Staff are very friendly, room was very clean. The only down turn was, there’s no tooth brush and body lotion provided as the hotel advertise “free toiletries”, we needed to call the housekeeping and we only got it once on the first day that we requested it, provided we stayed there for 3 days.
