Great stay
Pros:

From check-in and throughout our entire stay, we felt very well taken care of by the hotel and its fantastic staff. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent, and a special recommendation is to try their carbonara — you won’t be disappointed. The rooms were also very fresh, clean, and well maintained.

Terrible attic rooms – not worth the money
Pros:

The rooms we stayed in, located in the attic, were absolutely terrible. The smell of mold was unbearable. You could clearly see water damage around the windows, and the carpet was extremely dirty. Even the towels smelled like vinegar.

Those two rooms were definitely not worth the money we paid — it honestly felt like a complete scam. The entire area needs a full renovation as soon as possible.

Wonderful family adventure location
Pros:

Great 4 days exploring the area. Starting each day with breakfast, biking, climbing, windsurfing during the day and enjoying recovery in the hot tub each evening.

I planned an overnight stay & stayed for 3 nights

I enjoy these older Italian hotels for their character & location! I’ve stayed in a few now in my 27 days of bicycle travel, Hotel Benaco was Tops. It’s the kindness & caring of the Staff that makes Hotel Benaco shine!😊💯✅

Good for short-term
Pros:

The room was clean. The food was great at the breakfast.

Cons:

The ventilator was not clean: when I turned it on the dust came right on the bed linens. Same with the conditioner: some rusty dust fell out of there. The window does not have the ventilatinf position, which meant you could not leave the room with the window opened, and when you come back you feel a lack of air.

Wonderful hotel
