une belle vue sur les tours mais un endroit et un accueil un peu froid...
Pros:

la vue sur les tours de KL est très belle mais la suite faisait un peu trop formel et pas très au gout du jour (pas assez de prises de courant aux bons endroits...

Great value for a huge apartment stay!
Pros:

The apartment was huge! Had everything we needed and the balcony looked right onto KL tower which was a super plus! Loved watching the nightly show of changing colors. The location was g rear as it was within walking distance of everything we wanted to see!

Cons:

The apartment was a bit dated and the rug in the bedroom had seen better days.

Fantastic, budget friendly option in wonderful location!
Pros:

After 2.5 weeks in Malaysia, this was by far our favourite stay. Very budget friendly at 310RM per night, and a great, spacious room with fantastic facilities. Absolutely perfect location and friendly staff.

An aparthotel that feels like home, not luxury
Pros:

Full kitchen, large living room, bathtub, swimming pool, playground, 24-hour front-desk, concierge, room service, food delivery desk, housekeeping, location, location, location. Once you start searching and filtering on Booking, you realize that this property ticks all the boxes for a family stay. This was a repeat stay, as we left KL for Langkawi in between. We were very thankful for the complimentary luggage storage service. We got the same 3-bedroom unit again, which was a disappointment and blessing at the same time. I paid higher for a supposedly better view, but I understood later that the room we got the first time was already an "upgrade". The kids already got used to the room, so it was all for the better. They enjoyed the bathtub and the living room sofa. This place is truly bang for buck in terms of area; not sure if you get such space outside of AirBNBs (even modern condos are compact). Nearing the end of our stay with extended family, we wanted to downgrade our room to a smaller unit, but I was pleasantly surprised by a message from the front desk telling us that for the convenience of my family, we were allowed to retain the room, even though I paid for a smaller unit for my follow-up stay. The room was prepared with both a crib (free) and extra bed (paid) due to a confusion, but this proved that they watched out for my requirements and were cautious to meet my comfort. We were there for NYE, and being next to the Menara Tower, we got to witness one half of KL's NYE fireworks show (the other half was on the other side of the Twin Towers hidden from our view). It was good to be back.

Cons:

Aside from the old-age smell and dated furniture, fixtures and fittings -- terrible, spotty WiFi. This didn't hit on the first leg of our trip as we were there for only 3 nights, but upon our return for a longer 5-night stay followed up by another 3 nights totalling a bit more than a week, we really missed having fast, stable WiFi. We got maintenance up and it was resolved for a while, but it was often unstable, and as a result of poor signal, slower than expected. We had to rely on our roaming and eSIM most of the time. I was led to understand that our room was in a bad spot away from the router on the upper floor, but this should not be an excuse. Otherwise, we were also surprised to learn that housekeeping was only on alternate days, and I'm sure I remember Booking description mentioning "daily housekeeping". But we didn't mind this, as their cleaning protocol is very thorough. The swimming pool, however, did feel like it wasn't very well-maintained with as strict a protocol. Both times we were there we didn't see anyone at the desk, so we used our own towels. Also, in one side of the kids' pool, I noticed what looked like white gunk (algae/mold). Aside from these, we continued to miss a hand-pump liquid soap in the bathroom, dishwashing liquid in the kitchen and detergent for the washer (we did professional laundry only once as it gets expensive at 15RM/kg), so we bought our own.

Truly home away from home
Pros:

I am not sure if Booking encourages long-form reviews, but since unfortunately I forgot to take proper photos of the place (having two toddlers in tow makes you forgetful), I'll try my best to describe it. It had all the necessities for a family stay with two young children. Two bedrooms, THREE bathrooms/toilets, a large living, a FULL kitchen, and even a STUDY! The rooms have a direct view of the Menara Tower and partial view of the Twin Towers. You can understand that the location is prime; although not very close to a metro, nearby hotspots are within Western walking distances (but you don't normally walk in KL for more than 5 mins due to the humidity and uneven terrain). Contrary to official policies on Booking, the property does provide cots and extra beds. While the entire apartment is not carpeted, the bedrooms are, and this is important for the kids. The bathtub helps a lot, more than you expect. There is also a food delivery desk for riders to leave your meals and groceries, and I understood at one point that you can even call room service to have them delivered to your room (but I didn't bother them anyway). The roadside opposite sometimes had food stalls set up at lunchtime, and there's a Shell station convenience store within a minute's walk. Walk the other way 15 mins, and you reach Jalan Alor. While staff behaviour and approach can be inconsistent, they were nice overall, especially the reception, concierge and housekeeping. Aside from the occasional dust in certain places, they have a very thorough cleaning protocol. The property maintained a constant communication line with me since my booking, making me feel very safe and confident that someone was waiting to receive us. For holidays with kids, you need the predictability of a hotel and the comfort of an apartment, which the Maple Suite provides. With decades of experience, they know what they’re doing.

Cons:

The fixtures and furnishings are certainly dated. The toilet bowl seemed cracked down below, and I did experience some water pressure issue. There is certainly an old-age smell emanating from the entire apartment and its cabinets, but this is not something they can easily resolve, I guess. Housekeeping tends to push for early service, and this was annoying, considering that the timing was only until 3PM and the kids woke late. The toilet could do with a hand-pump liquid hand soap. The kitchen comes almost fully equipped but misses dishwashing liquid and scrubber, which for tourists is not economical to purchase (on our first stay housekeeping was kind enough to leave a bit of liquid and a scrubber). While there is a washing machine, it is again not economical to purchase detergent for short stays. The laundry information was also inconsistent -- sometimes staff said there was no laundry but at other times they got the laundry done for us through an external provider. In summary, they should strive for renovation in a gradual way, as this is a property at a prime location, with potential to provide premier facilities and amenities that family tourists need in a city.

Good location, plenty of space. Slightly old and tired hotel, needs a revamp! Friendly staff
Pros:

Good location, close to cafes and restaurants in Bukit Bintang. Big apartments, plenty of space.

Cons:

Kitchens not suitable for cooking or cleaning (no washing up liquid or cloth/sponge, minimal cooking equipment). Sauna and jacuzzi out of action.

Pros:

After another dodgy apartment on booking.com cancelled my booking the night before NYE, this hotel was the only affordable last-minute option in the city center, so I was just happy to find a new place to stay. We were looking for a two bedroom apartment, and this place was massive. We stayed in the deluxe two bedroom with balcony, and this has so much space. There are two bedrooms, three bathrooms, a kitchen, a study room, living room, storage room, laundry room,... The staff was very friendly and remembered my name even though there are so many rooms in this building. Although the place is not particularly cozy or modern, it was clean (even the water cooker and fridge were spotless) and had everything we needed. Our apartment was on the 17th floor and we had a view of the KL Tower. We watched the fireworks from our balcony! We could walk to all the tourist sites, but Grab drivers can also easily find the place.

Cons:

Like I mentioned before, it can appear a bit old, it's also big and a bit empty. Don't expect a new apartment. I did not use the pool or gym.

Quite expensive for the room alone
Pros:

The location was very strategic. Easier to move around in the center of KL.

Cons:

The pictures had KL tower view but in real the room have no view in any of the windows. Can only see the neighboring building. The furnitures were very old.
