Please note that rooms ‘DBL2TM’ and ‘COM2TM’ can only be accessed via a spiral staircase.

From May 2026 onwards, new construction projects (houses with apartments for locals and holiday guests) are expected to start on the opposite side of the street, contributing to the further development of the area. During certain periods, the mountain view to the south may be temporarily and partially restricted by a crane or construction elements. The construction work will take place exclusively on the other side of the street opposite the south side of the hotel. Our hotel itself will not be affected.
As we are not the builders or operators of these projects, we are unfortunately unable to provide any precise information on the planned schedule or sequence of construction work. In general, construction work may only take place on weekdays from Monday to Friday during the usual hours between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. without special permission. Pros:

こんなに素敵なホテルに滞在したのは初めてです。アイガーの見えるお部屋に宿泊し、日が暮れて赤く染っていくアイガーを、夫とバルコニーでゆっくり眺めながら過ごしました。冷房はありませんが、夏でも涼しいので扇風機と自然の風で十分でした。冷蔵庫やウォーターサーバー、コーヒーメーカーまであり、ありがたかったです。朝食も最高でした。
いつかまたグリンデルワルトに来た際は宿泊させていただきたいです。

Das Hotel direkt am Bahnhof Grindelwald hat eine perfekte Lage, wenn es darum geht am nächsten Tag aufs Jungfraujoch zu gehen. Der Empfang, Service und das Nachtessen waren sehr gut. Vor allem auch der Welcome-Drink an der Hotelbar. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und die Atmosphäre angenehm. Gegen den Bahnhof hatten wir nicht viel Lärm.

Cons:

Die Schwiegereltern hatten Ihr Zimmer gegen die Strasse. Das war etwas laut.

Location, comfort, great food, awesome staff - perfect location for a mountain vacation.
Pros:

Location was awesome, with a great view. Easy access to the trains, and the buses to Grindewald. Rooms were the quietest of our entire trip. Clean, a little small, but was incredible. Staff was funny and helpful, especially the front desk staff, they were the best. The breakfast was also incredible - great variety, and all of it fresh. Thank you!!

Nothing. Perhaps if the room was a touch larger, but that is about all that I could even guess at.

Superfreundliche Receptionisten.

Frühstück in einem Bergsteigerdorf erst ab 7 Uhr.
Eine Frühstückskellnerin, die den Raum absperrt sodass man erst PUNKT 7zum Buffet kommt und unfreundlich und verständnislos ist, wenn man fragt, ob man nicht schon 5 Minuten früher etwas vom schon fertigen Buffet nehmen könnte, weil der Bergführer wartet.

Hôtel très bien situé au centre de Grindelwald
Lits extrêmement confortables, nous avons passé une super nuit !
Buffet de petit déjeuner avec beaucoup de choix dont une salade de fruits frais très appréciée
Très bon accueil
Nous avions une chambre au nord côté gare, c’est calme la nuit mais si vous êtes sensible au bruit, prenez des bouchons anti bruit pour ne pas être gêné le matin. Cela ne nous a pas dérangé car tout était parfait sinon.
