Unique Hotel Post

Hôtel bien situé au coeur de la station de Zermatt, sur la rue principale, mais pourtant très calme. Notre chambre était magnifique, pierre et bois, c'est du haut standing pour un prix correct. Le personnel était incroyablement serviable et agréable, on nous a proposé un verre de bienvenue, et au départ une bouteille d'eau et un taxi pour la gare !
Il y a un restaurant et un bar au rez-de-chaussée, mais nous ne les avons pas entendu. Belle salle de petit-déjeuner et buffet correct, sans être particulièrement remarquable.

Location was great. Room was great. Tub/Shower was nice. We liked that the bathroom was separate but yet very connected to the room. The breakfast was great. We liked to start the day there. The morning train was at 7 am one day so we were rushed from time that day since breakfast starts at 6:30

Super Hotel mitten in Zermatt, tolles Personal. Sehr gemütliches Zimmer mit Blick aufs Matterhorn, sensationell. Es war ein echtes Erlebnis.

Centrale ligging, moderne styling, faciliteiten (keuze uit verschillende restaurants behorende bij het hotel, jaccuzzi), erg goed ontbijt.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The view from our room was fabulous! The overall vibe of the hotel is mountain modern and we loved it!

Location, location, location! Unique Post Hotel was in the perfect location to explore Zermatt. The staff was friendly, helpful, and very welcoming. Our room, which overlooked The Matterhorn, was perfect…fresh, comfortable bedding, very clean, and two separate doors/windows that could be open for fresh air. Added perk…the Brown Cow Tavern was attached! We can’t wait to return.

Location was perfect.
Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choices.
Room had been adapted to accommodate two adults and 2 children, but still big enough.

Staff is so kind and helpful. Hotel is just beautiful and comfy. The room has enough space for two with a nice and comfortable bed. The hotel offers shuttle service from the train station for free, just make sure you tip the kind staff :)

Our five day stop in the Unique Post Hotel in Zermatt, was the main and final part of our holiday to Switzerland, and was definitely the highlight!
A modern boutique hotel located on the Main Street in ‘pedestrian only’ Zermatt was the perfect location and setting from which to explore the spectacular surrounding area.
The staff were really helpful in every element of the stay, from a warm and friendly welcome at breakfast, to reception which deserves a huge thank you to Max for helping us by providing USB adapters and helping with room queries, nothing was too much trouble and response was immediate, professional whilst maintaining a relaxed and friendly feel.
Location is perfect. A four minute walk from the main train station along one road made getting to the hotel super easy Opposite the station is the Gornergrat cog railway and a bit further round is the cable car stop up to Sunnegga, so everything is really accessible . The Cable Car station up to the Matterhorn Glacial paradise was less than five minutes walk in the other direction, with all shops, bars and restaurants literally on the doorstep.
The rooms were in a modern open plan style with a natural wood interior giving a relaxed and comfy feel to the stay, The only thing we could have asked for were USB ports with the plug sockets, a really minor point, but would have helped with charging phones, GPS watches for international visitors.
We visited the hotel’s complimentary spa on one occasion after a full days hiking which was a great experience with a vigorous jacuzzi and a nice and hot sauna, great to relax in.
With a wide choice of bars and restaurants on site, you could spend the visit on site. In summary, a brilliant stay which we will definitely be repeating in the near future.

Wir haben ein Upgrade bekommen und hatten eine Suite die unglaublich komfortabel und gemütlich war., mit einer Dachterrasse zusätzlich zum Balkon, von der man einen atemberaubenden Blick auf das Matterhorn hatte. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Das Personal sehr, sehr freundlich. Unser Abendessen im dazugehörigen Poststüble ausgezeichnet auf hohem Niveau mit exzellente Weine
