The location was good. It was an easy walk to the Bedford shopping area as well as the subway station
The decor needed a little refreshing. For example, the varnish on the desk was worn and the paint of the bathroom door was peeling.
Great location nice hotel
Rather expensive for such a hotel
the decor of the room was very nice and it had enough space. Love the location.
The concierge was very friendly. The room was clean and the bed was the MOST comfortable bed I have slept in! Also we were able to find street parking not too far away(this was Jan. so maybe off-season?) We will definitely be back, and I would highly recommend Coda!
The fire alarm started going off at 7am and continued to go off intermittently until we checked out. Our room was directly next to the alarm :(
Location was great and walkable distance to a lot of fun restaurants and things to do. The rooms were spacious and clean with a nice bathroom and comfortable bed. I also appreciated the free water left in the room for us.
There was quite a bit of noise outside of the room, one was because someone pulled the fire alarm accidentally but there was also cleaning happening very late at night like at 1:00 in the morning which was noisy. I was also a little disappointed that the rooftop bar was closed while we were there.
Where do I start? I walk into a room with a stench. Smells... stale. Oh well, I am ready to wash off the plane ride, but wait! There are no towels! In the essence of time, I will make do with a hand towel for now. But surely after I get my back after my afternoon meetings, I will have fresh towels, right? Nope! I requested via text (this is how the property corresponds with guests) for a room clean and fresh towels, and was promised such. However, I was shocked to come back to my room later to find it: (1) not cleaned and (2) towel-less. I go downstairs to a lackadaisical Gen-Z who, when told about my situation, says, "Wow... that's like... really bad." We love an empath! I eventually got towels before 9 pm, and after my shower, I am ready to wind down. Unfortunately, my hallway neighbors aren't! I get to hear their screams and convos until 3 in the morning, thanks to the paper-thin walls. I grin and bear it for the next two days, and upon my checking out, I am sitting in the lobby waiting for an Uber, when a staff member actually tells me not to wait in the lobby, but to go wait outside! Hospitality at its finest. If all of this makes me a "Karen", so be it. The price I paid for my stay was NOT reflective of the service that I received. The only saving grace of this property is its location: approximately central Williamsburg, McCarren Park, etc. Regardless, I will never stay here again!
See above.
Everything was beautiful, the staff was friendly, very clean. I would visit this hotel again.👏👏👏❤️
The location was great and the room service was very good. Always came back to a clean room.
The hallways were noisy with no carpet and just floorboards. The pictures on the web look very nice but in reality it is a cheap makeover. The beds were not very comfortable and the room decor very basis. The foyer decor very tacky - I felt like I was in a hostel not a hotel.
Good location and nice design
1. A fire alarm went off repeatedly early on Sunday AM which was an error and not a drill or a real emergency. This lasted a long time and was disruptive. The front desk didn’t even acknowledge it when I was checking out.
2. The original room we were given had some type of pipe issue coming from above. After contacting staff about this an engineer was sent up. They moved us rooms as they couldn’t fix the property.
location was great; staff very nice; room small but serviceable.
No coffee in the room. Would have appreciated the pool area being open earlier in the morning to just enjoy the outside and drink a cup of coffee.
Goede locatie, ruime kamers
