Great stay, lovely staff, cool neighbourhood but room and facilities were a bit disappointing.
Pros:

Lovely staff, good location, interesting vibe. Great Chinese restaurant and bar on site.

Cons:

Rooms were somewhat tired, although they were clean with bedding and towels regularly changed. The photos and marketing copy on the website do not really reflect the hotel as it is at the moment. Wardrobe didn't give enough space to hang up dresses and suits. Some things (eg phone and bathroom fan) didn't work.

Pros:

Room was good.

Cons:

Restaurant was not available or breakfast. It was open but there was no one there. We went in to the kitchen but could not see anyone even though we called out. Had to go to an outside restaurant for breakfast.

upscale boutique hotel on a quiet block of Williamsburg
Pros:

This was a gorgeous boutique hotel with spacious (by NYC standards) rooms overlooking the edge of McCarren Park. It’s within walking distance of SO many amazing spots in Williamsburg and Greenpoint (particularly the 50 Norman shops, Tørst, and Eavesdrop). But this street is pretty quiet, so not too much street noise, just good daytime people (and dog) watching :) The front-desk staff was also fantastic, so friendly and professional.

Cons:

No fridge in room. There wasn’t a ton of real estate in the bathroom to hang towels, etc., so maybe not the best for more than 2 people?

Cool, comfortable, kind and in the middle of the action.
Pros:

This winter has been an exciting one. Intense weather and a hectic schedule that kept bringing me back to Brooklyn for weeks at a time. During my multiple trips here, I was lucky enough to stay at CODA Williamsburg. It is a stylish place in the heart of Williamsburg catering to the thrifty but cool traveler. Although I didn't spend much actual time there other than to rest, the hotel and staff were very pleasant, accommodating, and professional. One person in particular, Allison, went out of her way to help me on several occasions and made sure I had everything I needed with a genuine smile and a highly efficient style. 5 stars. I wish all hotel concierge service were as welcoming and helpful as she and the rest of the staff were.
I will definitely be back to CODA when business calls me to Brooklyn.

Cons:

This is a value-forward establishment that probably caters to a younger set so some of the furnishings have taken it a bit hard. I also don't love cool LED lighting so would suggest switching to warm bulbs at least. The tea selection in the lobby could improve but that may just be specific to me..haha

The location was central to a bunch of food & shopping and easy train access
Pros:

The property was in a great location

Cons:

It wasn’t very clean. We had to ask 3 times for the room service to come & clean hair from a previous stay in the shower and makeup off the wall/ shower curtain & still it was not done
