Room was awful

Function room was good and breakfast was very good.

My room was filthy dirty and in a very shabby condition. Everything was old and past its best by a long way.

Amazing staff
Pros:

Amazing hotel I had my nephews wedding here and from start to finish it was amazing. Sharon and Danielle the events organisers were amazing and very helpful. A special thanks to Damo who made the day itself go smoothly and amazingly. Thank you all for a lovely day

The phone in the room didn’t work but someone came to all of the probs. The people working there were all lovely.
Pros:

Easy to go to Bury, Manchester, Ramsbottom.

Cons:

Freezing on 1st evening. The heating is not working but they brought up a heater, which was better.

Pros:

Nice hotel but my room was very dated. There were screw plug holes on the wall where a long mirror had been removed but not replaced. The bed needs a new mattress because I could feel the springs. It was clean.

Breakfast was good and the maitre’d was very welcoming and helpful.

Regardless of a discount price I wouldexpect a reasonable standard of maintenance of accommodation.
Pros:

The room was clean - with clean sheets and towels. Bed was comfortable.
Receptionist on duty was particularly helpful in supplying a hairdryer that was missing from the room and in ordering a taxi.

Cons:

The bathroom was badly in need of refurbishment - there was black mould along the shower screen seal and at the back of the washbasin. There was a very rusty? soap tray in attached the wall in the shower space. Water leaked onto the floor along the base of the shower screen.
There was a gap between the carpet pieces in the bedroom which had not been stuck down or sealed with tape so potentially was a tripping hazard.
