The staff member who coked the breakfast was a delight and very helpful.
I had scrambled eggs, which were edible but I felt it was an egg mix rather than freshly cooked eggs.
Comfortable bed, well appointed bar.
Location suited our purpose well.
Plenty of off road parking space.
The bathroom was poor. Fittings were a bit old-fashioned. The shower screen was partially disconnected and it was not possible to close it completely. This led to water splashing all over the floor.
The light was operated by a pull code and the handle was missing. The cord had been loop knotted and was very discoloured.
Corridors to rooms were somewhat poorly lit and felt grubby.
Staff welcoming and friendly, food excellent, first time away with my Dog, made to feel really welcome, excellent location.
Good food and friendly staff.
Breakfast had a good variety available. Dining area was extremely nice
Would have liked a bath mat for the floor.
Excellent food and location
Room cleaning was overlooked on one occasion
We found this hotel purely by accident as we needed a very quick overnight stay near Bacton. What a lovely place. Rooms super clean and very comfy, staff couldn’t be friendlier and more helpful. We didn’t eat there which is a real shame because the food looked fab!
Nothing not to like.
Good
Room
Lovely warm and comfy bedroom
No hooks or sufficient towel rails in bathroom.
Dissappointing New Years evening due to entertainers choice of music, which led to lack of atmosphere and dancing
Staff,breakfast,dinner
Overall approach to guest's requirements excellent
The location was excellent. The staff are very friendly and it’s quiet. We had a very nice meal on the Friday evening.
The room was freezing at night. The heating didn’t come on till 7am both days of our stay. The Christmas meal wasn’t good. Over cooked and bland. Most of our party wasn’t happy with it.
The area, friendliness of staff
Friendly, helpful staff. Good food and excellent breakfast. Big carpark.Good bar. Good location. Excellent function facility.
No Wine by the glass from the bar. Plumbing and water pumps made very loud intermittent noises all through the night. It kept waking me up. The bathroom is very small with inadequate shelves and storage. There were no usb sockets in the bedroom.
A lovely place to stay. Extremely lovely helpful staff great atmosphere in the bar in the evenings. Breakfast was a lovely experience the lady in charge remained exactly how you liked your bacon cooked perfect every morning.
The evening menu was varied well cooked and presented.
The only thing to mention was that the only access to the bedrooms was using stairs not entirely suitable for people with mobility issues. Other than that a great place to explore the area
Going upstairs to ourvroo. But got used to it after first day
The nice thing is the proximity to the sea and the fact that four-legged friends are welcome at a cost of 15 pounds per day. Although there were two problems, the staff resolved them excellently.
the room was cold even though the radiators were on
