Very enjoyable again, well fed and well looked after.
Pros:

It’s quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff are all very friendly. The dinner menu always has a high standard of food on offer. I always find it better than the usual pub menu choices.

Pros:

Wir waren jetzt schon das zweite Mal da und wie bereits beim ersten Mal war wieder alles sehr gut.
Das Personal super freundlich, das Frühstück sowie auch dass Abendessen super.
Wir kommen immer wieder gerne zurück 😊

Cosy place, friendly, efficient staff, and wonderful experience altogether.
Pros:

Breakfast was wonderful. Jane suggested and brought me 2 boiled eggs and sourdough toast "soldiers". It was terrific. Tea was good too. Excellent bar tending service.

Cons:

I should have booked a longer stay!

Outstanding and really friendly
Pros:

From the moment we arrived the staff were so friendly and helpful. All the food was superb, a great menu choice and portions were more than ample. Highly recommended, would stay there again.

Impossible to criticise - that's why they are Scotlands pub of the year!!

Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel which was in a very convenient location for the last two days of our holiday. The staff were very friendly and provided a warm welcome. There was also a great choice of local beers together with a menu offering a good selection. Excellent breakfast and we will certainly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling in the Scottish Borders.

Cons:

In the evening, it did turn cool and it would have been nice to have some form of alternative heating in the bedroom.
