Location is perfect. Comfy beds.
A group of people putting towels on sunbeds 1st thing in the morning and by 1pm still not using them. Some had towels in 2 places, in shade and in sun. Very unfair.
Most of the apartments around peurto del carmen are similar however Parque Tropical is definitely the most modern I have stayed in. Nice pool area with comfortable sunbeds and a great pool bar with happy hour offers! Apartment was clean and exactly as expected. Location is excellent, short walk to beach and strip with restaurants and bars. Definitely recommend!
Towels changed every second day instead of daily
The hotel was fabulous. The pool area was just beautiful. Clean tranquil and relaxing.
The pool bar was great. Staff so nice and restaurant was delicious. It was our 1st time staying there and we definitely will return. I emailed the hotel several times before my stay and they replied immediately. Anything requested was taken on board.
Looking forward to returning.

Stayed here end of May start of June 2026 and loved it! Chilled atmosphere, spotless and spacious apartment, with air con and all staff are lovely and couldn't do enough for guests. Food at pool bar really nice and reasonably priced, sandwiches/toasties/ baguettes priced below €7 and come with chips, full breakfast €4.95, happy hour pints €6 for 2 which is more expensive than on the strip. The location is ideal as it's right beside the main street or strip and sunbeds have long waterproof cushions which are really comfortable. Would recommend an upstairs room as ours (18B) had no view (facing wall) and had quite a few beatles, apart from that we would definitely stay again.
Staff location
We visit Lanzarote every Easter as a family of 3 (2adults and 1 child) and have now been to Parque Tropical for 2 years in a row. The apartments are very clean and spacious. Located very centrally, but similarly quiet too. Lovely staff. We've already booked to come back again! Love this place.

It was our first time at the Parque Tropical and will not be our last. This is our 7th time in Lanzarote and thought we'd try a new hotel. The place is extremely relaxed and best suited (in my opinion) for couples. We originally had concerns around if the hotel had air conditioning, however all rooms have now had A/C installed in the bedroom. This is plenty to keep the whole apartment cool which was an extremely welcomed relief.
We also had concerns about a 'salt water' pool as we'd never experienced one before. I can honestly say, it is so much better than a standard chlorine pool as your eyes do not burn and skin feels much better! The salt is so minimal you won't notice it.
The music around the pool is relaxed with no loud Boom Boom. Food is available at the pool serviced by Nico's restaurant which is also fantastic.
The room was pretty standard with a kitchenette and fantastic bathroom. Cleaned every other day and was spotless.
Location is great with a 2-min walk to the front with beach and plenty of bars and restaurants.
For the price, you cannot fault this place and we cannot wait to return.
There is a morning queue at 9am for sun beds. This is so annoying (not the hotel's fault), as people will place a towel on their chosen bed then head out for the day. Every day we saw beds under umbrella's not used all day, then towels removed at 5pm as they went back to the room, when other people had to lie on bed directly in the sun.
There are plenty of beds - just extremely inconsiderate people! Oh and the sun beds are really comfy.
The cleanliness, rip in the sheets , myself and my 2 friends bought bleach and washed it all as there was pubic hair on the wall in the bathroom.
