The hotel is mediocre and poorly operated. Service elevators not operative so cleaning and other hotel staff were dominating the elevators not allowing easy use by hotel guests. Long waits for elevator use by guests.
Female checkout clerk was belligerent, nasty, and surly. One check-out clerk with numerous guests standing and waiting in line to leave. Basic front desk staff were just awful. One guest checking out did not have a useable credit card and was making calls to his credit card provider….staff allowed him to spend +20 minutes to call France to help with his credit issued….other guests were not convenience by another check out clerk.
Waste of time and money…stay elsewhere for better value for your money.
Kudos however to assistant concierge Yakoub to help w/our stay. Wonderful attention and recommendations.

Location is great, room service food was very good:
The rooms need to be renovated, room AC and shower vent fan was noisy. Lights were always shimmering. Some plugs didn’t work. Furniture and carpets had lots of visible stains.
The sinks were clogged and the room was not cleaned properly and water bottles were not always replaced.
Came here after another hotel lost my booking, after a long day of travel. Tired rooms and fixtures, all very dated and a funny smell. Even that I can live with, given late night arrival. The next morning I went for a jog and came back at 6.30 am to an empty breakfast room where I entered with no issue from staff. Got my food only to be asked to leave for not adhering to the dress code by another staff member who first shouted at the greeter, I guess for allowing me entry . At the same time a 2nd person entered the restaurant also in t shirt and shorts and was allowed to go about his way. The staff member wasn’t interested when I tried to point this out as I was being ejected. I appreciate there are various dress codes, even if not advertised. But if come in to an empty place, allow me to get my food and then not allow me to eat and make me leave …..a very sour taste. It’s at times like this that a hotel can really make the difference one way or another - here, I won’t be back.

Insalubrité de la chambre 1502 et insalubrité de la piscine : filaments de moisissure et champignons noirs/gris de quelques centimètres par filament...
Nous en avons eu sur nos corps et nos maillots de bain. Personne ne nous a informés que la piscine était insalubre. Étant sombre et le carrelage gris, on ne pouvait pas voir ça à l'avance. Nous avons un enfant en bas âge et au spa on avait d'abord commencé à nous dire que c'était certainement du "papier" jeté par d'autres clients en nous parlant fort et vite, comme si nous étions des ignorants ... C'était pathétique et gênant.
À la fin en voyant l'étendue de la saleté, la personne a commencé à se confondre en excuses et nous dire que quelqu'un allait venir mettre une bouteille de chlore pour que ce soit propre demain. De pire en pire.
Nous avons demandé à l'hôtel de partir dès le lendemain.
Ils nous avaient Assuré que le séjour allait être remboursé compte tenu de la situation (on avait payé à l'avance le séjour et les petits dejs). A savoir que nous étions en vacances et qu'il nous a fallu replier bagage et trouver autre chose en urgence.
On a payé un repas au resto. 1000dh. Juste pour indiquer qu'ils n'ont rien tenté pour un mea culpa. Mais soit!
On est repartis le lendemain en ayant été rassurés que dans les 48h on serait remboursés.
On attend encore, cela fait trois jours.
La gestion de cet hôtel est une calamité. Nous avons l'habitude de séjourner à plusieurs Sofitel et celui-ci est clairement indigne de ce nom.
