Lüderitz Nest Hotel

The Nesthotel in Lüderitz is well placed a little bit outside the city center. It lays quietly at the End of the little bay.
Very warm welcome, very clean rooms. The whole hotel is tastefully decorated. The rooms are as well tastefully decorated and on the seafront they are giving way to a marvellous view on the bay and the Felsenkirche.
The restaurant is on high level and provides you with fish and seafood as fresh as you can imagine.
The whole Hotel and restaurant crew is well trained and tactfully present.

Our stay was perfect and we enjoyed it very much.

We travelled to Luderitz and stayed in the stunning Luderitz Nest Hotel. The rooms are beautiful and right on the water, the breakfast is Delicious and the staff is very professional and friendly. We wish we could have stayed longer

We had a lovely waterside room which opened up to a lovely view across the rocks to the sea and across the harbour. Rooms were compact and well maintained, and staff were friendly and helpful. We didn’t try the pool. We we did eat in the restaurant on the first night; food was good, but pricey. Secure on-site parking. It’s a busy hotel that caters for tour groups. It’s a good base to explore surrounding historical sites such as Shark Island, wildlife areas along the coast, Dias Cross (Fur Seals) and Halifax Island (Penguins) and the Namib Nakluft National Park, and Kolmanskopp.

Dramatic views from the room, with seals playing just outside. Quiet and comfortable room. Easy to get a good relaxing sleep. Bathroom a little dated, but clean and functional. Great buffet breakfast. Lots of choice. A short walk into town. Not really the weather for the swiming pool, but this was out of action anyway.

Lovely setting...the staff were super friendly and attentive..we had mussels and fresh oysters to start..delicious..think the mussels would be better served with bread instead of toast ..we had Kabeljou for mains ..the fish was a bit dry but the chips and salad were delicious! Desert was apple crumble and peach melba ..both delicious !!

Room was sea facing and a highlight to hear the waves. Staff pleasant and friendly . Dinner service slow and room for improvement. Overall a very pleasant stay.

We stayed 2 nights here while visiting Luderitz.

The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much for them. The food in their restaurant was fantastic and some of the best food on our trip. The rooms we had were nice, clean and modern with great views of the ocean. The heated outdoor pool is a nice addition.

Unfortunately the construction noise significantly let the hotel down during our 2 night stay. We knew this was happening as when we arrived there were signs stating it would only be between the hours of 10am to 5pm which is fine as most people including us would be out exploring so unaffected by it however, this was not the case. Our first breakfast at 7.30am - 8.15/30am all you could hear was banging in the kitchen while breakfast was happening. Likewise the construction in the rooms started before the 10am and went on passed the 5pm. What was more confusing was that the hotel was not full but both the rooms our family were given were right next to the construction zone. Personally given the size of the hotel and lack of capacity when we were there I would have put guests as far away from the suites undergoing construction to minimise noise disruption and paint fume smell during their stays.
We would definitely return and stay here again as long as we knew the construction was completed.

Beautiful Hotel with Sea Views in Luederitz. Cozy and clean room, amazing breakfast. Central, close to Felsenkirche. Friendly staff. Would stay there again.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant has excellent seafood options. Everything we ate was great and very large portions.

We stayed one night here. The hotel is situated just outside the main centre of Luderitz but is easily walkable. The room looked directly onto the sea. It is a modernish hotel. We did not use the pool area which appeared closed as the weather was not good enough. We ate in the restaurant which was amazing - wonderful seafood. Breakfast was very good the next day too.

We had stayed before at this hotel and our expectations were met again this time. While the hotel catered for a large wedding, other guests were not inconvenienced at all.

We had a great stay at the Lüderitz Nest Hotel! Our room was on the smaller side, but bright, well-appointed, and offered beautiful ocean views along with a scenic look toward Felsenkirche and the town. It’s just a short (if windy!) walk into the town center.

The room came with strong WiFi, a good shower, and a handy bar fridge—everything we needed for a comfortable stay. While the décor in the lobby and restaurant areas felt a bit dated and bland, the quality of the food more than made up for it.

The hotel restaurant served exceptional meals. Breakfast was a real highlight—with an excellent selection, including hot dishes cooked to order and even sparkling wine to start your day in style.

Across the board, the staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive, which made our stay feel even more welcoming.

Highly recommend the Lüderitz Nest Hotel as a solid and comfortable base for exploring this unique coastal town!

Unfortunately we were here for just 1 night. It’s a beautiful hotel with rooms overlooking the bay. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was also lovely. Free wifi which works well. A highlight is definitely the restaurant. They serve fresh seafood as well as a range of other things. The breakfast buffet was also great. Very varied and very nice rolls and sweet pastries. Friendly staff as well, this place has it all. I really enjoyed my short stay here.

We were there for Valentines so had the 5 course dinner. Excellent menu and great value.
