Beautiful but can be improved
Pros:

The hotel is situated in a good location. With two lifting you can easily reach the downtown in few minutes. The car park is big and free for guest. Good breakfast. Friendly staff

Cons:

We have choosen this hotel because of the restaurant. When we are arrived there were a big group of tourist. At the reception they say that the restaurant were unvailable because of the group. We had to move to downtown looking for a restaurant. We were a little disappointed.
No air conditioning in the room.

Séjour fantastique dans un endroit merveilleux !
Pros:

Magnifique hôtel d'époque. Très belle vue sur Engelberg et les alentours. Impressionnante collection de gin !!! Très spacieux. Parking pratique. Accès par ascenseurs et tunnel parfait pour se rendre au centre ville !

Cons:

Dommage que le personnel ne parle pas le français, difficile de se faire comprendre. Manque de certains produits au petit-déjeuner.

Ich empfehle das Terrace allen, die ein preiswertes und historisches Hotel in den Bergen suchen.
Pros:

Schönes, historisches Hotel. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal an der Rezeption. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Saunalandschaft sehr schön und neu gemacht. Blick in die Berge ist wunderschön.

Cons:

Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber wie beschrieben und sauber und für diesen Preis tiptop. Leider beim Frühstücksbuffet nur Instant-Kaffee aus dem Automaten. Hätte man aber vielleicht auch einen besseren bestellen können, was uns aber erst im Nachhinein eingefallen ist.

Great option in Engelberg
Pros:

The hotel had a lot of character and charm. Florian was wonderful at check-in. The breakfast was delicious. The tunnels and elevators from town and the parking lot were a pleasant surprise.

Cons:

The economy double was a little dated, but still comfortable. Can't beat it for the price!

Une nuit d'étape magnifique.
Pros:

Chambre un peu petite mais literie très confortable. Propreté 10/10. Petit déjeuner exceptionnel. Vue magnifique de la chambre sur les montagnes. Dommage pas de restaurant ouvert comme annoncé pourtant.
