Excellent location! Excellent accommodations! Great floor plan for 2 couples with privacy within! A true vacation getaway! Close to everything to do- shop, eat or be entertained! Would stay here again!

Had a wonderful stay and will return in the future.
Pros:

Large rooms, strong hot water pressure and great lighting. Comfortable beds and furniture. Swimming facilities were excellent as well.

Cons:

Walls were a little thin and you could hear neighbors above! Otherwise Nothing to complain about.

Quiet and clean.

Cons:

Parking for handicap guest. The guest that had handicap issues or unable to walk the distance from the overflow parking area weren’t allowed to park in front of the guest’s residence.

Quick Birthday Getaway
Pros:

We live in Chesapeake, Virginia but wanted to travel to Williamsburg for a few of the activities they had to offer. We decided to stay overnight and booked at The Colonies of Williamsburg. The rooms are actually little apartments- well furnished and maintained, extremely clean, and comfortable. It was too cold to use the outdoor pool/water Park, but the hot tub was huge, clean, and the perfect temperature. We will definitely book again for other local trips!

Pros:

The rooms were large, clean, and comfortable! Beautiful grounds, well maintained pools and hot tub, and great staff.
The lady who checked us in and out was very friendly and helpful and deserves special recognition

I would do it again and stay longer! It was a perfect stay for my anniversary!
Pros:

The room floor plan was exceptional! The bedrooms were both a nice size! The living room was inviting. The amenities looked great. The location was perfect!

Cons:

A few more friendly faces at the front desk would have been nice, but I didn’t have to wait long to be helped!
The parking!!!! I know there were no reserved spots, but parking near the room was a challenge because it appeared that other guests may have had visitors. They need a visitors parking lot. The overflow spaces (2) were not enough!!!

Horrible experience
Pros:

The furnishings were old, ripped and very uncomfortable. There were no grab bars in either bathroom.

Williamsburg
Pros:

The older complex was nice overall. The pictures make it stand out a little more than it does in person, but it was still a good stay with plenty of room. The kitchen looked remodeled, but the living room and sofa bed could use some attention.
