The Okura Prestige Bangkok

I had a really wonderful stay at The Okura Bangkok. From the moment I arrived, everything just felt easy and welcoming.

The room was fantastic, spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. You can really feel the attention to detail, and it made it a great place to relax after a long day.

The facilities were excellent, and the breakfast was a real highlight. There was such a great variety, and everything was fresh and high quality, definitely something I looked forward to each morning.

What truly made the stay special, though, was the people. The staff were genuinely warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. A special mention to the General Manager as well, it was refreshing to see his presence around the hotel, and his approachable, personable manner really stood out.

Overall, it felt like a place that genuinely cares about its guests. I would happily stay again.

I booked our stay as a suprise birthday gift to my partner for her 30:th birthday. That being the case, I was very excited and a bit nervous on arrival.

But my nervousness was in vain, because as soon as we set foot in our room, the look on my partner’s face confirmed all that I had hoped for.

This hotel is brilliant. The design, the staff, the room service and last but not least: the breathtaking view from the room and the pool!

We booked a Prestige Club Room on the very topp floor and the view from the panoramic window was to die for. The pool was c:a 9 floors below, but left nothing to desire due to the excellent design.

The staff was incredibly attentive. We felt so well taken care of, especially during my partner’s birthday that we will remember it for the rest of our lives. We had to buy some keepsakes from the reception shop on our last day just to have something to cling onto once we come back home.

So, from the bottom of both our hearts: thank you Okura Prestige Bangkok. You delivered an experience that far exceeded our already high expectations!

My family and I had an amazing 4-night stay. In the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city, this hotel was a wonderful retreat to come back to and de-stress.

It’s conveniently connected to a mall, and the BTS station is less than a minute’s walk away. The location is very central, making it easy to get around Bangkok — just a quick 2–10 minute trip to nearby malls, markets, and other attractions.

We loved that every time we returned from the BTS entrance to the hotel, it smelled lovely. The hotel is also very clean, modern, and well-maintained.

The rooms were spotless, spacious and comfortable - not a single dirt in sight. We were celebrating my sister’s birthday, and the hotel surprised us with a sweet handwritten card and a delicious matcha cake - it was such a thoughtful touch.

We also appreciated the small gestures, like fresh fruits delivered to our room daily, the surprised origami, and thoughtful facilities throughout the hotel, such as halving a water filter station at the gym and complimentary mini water bottles for the pool/sauna/gym.

The breakfast buffet was also delicious, with the best spread we’ve seen compared to other hotels. We loved the mix of Western and Asian cuisine - Japanese curry soufflé, grilled chicken skewers, miso soup, dim sum, pad Thai, and more. Everything was tasty and high quality.

We were also grateful to be able to check in early after our 5 a.m. flight arrival. And we loved that we could use the sauna/ spa facilities to shower before our rooms were ready.

Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering it.

Perfect in every aspect of my stay. What especially sets the Okura Prestige apart is attention to details : from check in to check out, all moments, all “angles” of the client’s experience appears perfectly thought out.

This was my second visit in this hotel and I would say this is one of the best hotel I have ever stayed among all hotels in Bangkok. The location is perfect as it is connected to BTS which made getting around the city effortless. We stayed here for 3 nights and I did not mention its my wife’s birthday and They surprised us with cake and a thoughtful card. All the staff are very friendly and warm especially Mr. Hammer their GM who greeted us during breakfast and you can feel how much he cares and values his guests! Thank you all and we will definitely come back again!

We had a wonderful stay at The Okura Prestige. The staff were friendly, attentive, and highly professional. The location is excellent and very convenient for exploring the area.

The hotel itself has a great atmosphere—elegant, calm, making it a pleasant place to relax after a busy day. One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the breakfast, which offered a wide variety of high-quality options and was a perfect way to start the morning.

Our recent trip took an unexpected detour when our flights were canceled, resulting in a 16 night stay at The Okura Prestige. The warm hospitality we received here turned our situation into a truly memorable experience.

The staff consistently went out of their way to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable for the duration of our stay. We want to give a special mention to the Concierge, Mr. Bon, who was a great help and made our stay so pleasant. Additionally, Ms. Pimsuda, the Guest Experience Manager, was wonderful and ensured every detail of our stay was handled with care.

We also enjoyed the exceptional breakfast the hotel offers, which is the best breakfast we have ever eaten in a hotel. The quality and variety were outstanding.

A standout feature of the OKURA prestige is the CEO, Mr. Hammer. He is deeply involved in the day-to-day work, frequently speaking with guests and showing a genuine interest in their experience. He is incredibly reachable and ready to help directly.

We cannot recommend the OKURA prestige highly enough.

Where do I start ? The general manager Niek Hammer leads the team with his down to earth and highly impressive performance. That’s the main reason why the staff are so motivated. You’ll find him assisting them clearing the table during breakfast and always greeting everyone with a smile
The hotel is centrally located with malls and shops nearby and actually even connected to the sky train station and the central embassy mall.
The club lounge was superb and had a Japanese influence in their food presentation.
Bet as least buffet needs an entire separate review!

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were treated with unbelievable courtesy and kindness by every member of staff. The service was impeccable, the food outstanding and the quality of the room perfect.

It was our anniversary and we were given an upgrade to the top floor which was very kind of them.

The pool area and view were spectacular and this hotel ranked among the best for all round comfort and Quality.

A special mention to the fabulous reception staff who retrieved my wife’s ring which was handed in after being left by the swimming pool (whoops).

Thank you all we will definitely be staying with the brand and visit other hotels in the group worldwide!

This is our second stay this year. So clean, comfortable, and delicious food. Top-notched service in every aspect. I would like to say with extreme confidence that the Okura Prestige Bangkok Hotel has the world’s best GM, Mr. Niek Hammer. Having had a chance to stay at many luxury hotels in Thailand (and abroad), we’ve never met any GM who always walks around making sure everything is perfect for the guests. For most of the hotels we experienced, we didn’t ever see or know their GMs. Mr. Hammer always politely greets us from the first day till checking out. He knows his guests by heart, not only our names but the whole family and any special occasions we plan. For all these, we always look forward to returning to the Okura Prestige Bangkok again and again. It definitely makes us feel like meeting our dear friend. Thank you so much for all the staffs there, the club lounge team, and special thanks to Mr. Hammer!

Great service, perfect location, overall top hotel

Magnificent hotel in a city famous for its five star hotels. Think understated Japanese luxury. Immaculate room, separate toilet area, shower & bath. Views from every room. Michelin star restaurant on premises, big gym, infinity pool with beautiful views. This hotel deserves its rating on TripAdvisor. Since I have a platinum status with Expedia they gave us free breakfast for 2 daily and let me tell you it was an amazing buffet. Overall I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Right across the street from Central Embassy Mall and close to the subway station. Excellent choice.

This is a very high standard hotel. Extremely well run. The international breakfast is not to be missed. The staff is outstanding. We have stayed in several five star hotels in Bangkok, we continue to return here. Always spotless and a pleasant stay.

This is always my hotel of choice in Bangkok, and once again, I had a truly wonderful stay.

The concierge and all the staff greet you with warm smiles, and whenever I have a question, they respond promptly, kindly, and professionally. Being welcomed back with a simple “Welcome back” makes me feel as if this hotel is my home in Bangkok.

As a Japanese guest, I was pleased to experience a sense of “omotenashi,” or Japanese-style hospitality, throughout my stay.

The restaurants offer a wide variety of excellent cuisine — not only breakfast, but also lunch and dinner are always satisfying.

The General Manager is truly outstanding. Although he has been with the hotel for many years, he remains very hands-on, regularly present on site, and always approachable and happy to engage in conversation.

My family and I are already very much looking forward to our next stay.

Everything is great with Okura. It was a nice stay. The staffs were so helpful, from front office, restaurant, to pool staffs. The room is spacious, have good view, the pool is also so nice, breakfast spread is great. I can't wait to be back!

Excellent location - direct sheltered access to BTS station. The room was spacious and well decorated. Loved the separate toilet with auto bidet from shower. The infinity pool is a MUST - so peaceful and inviting. The hotel staff were warm and amazing from the start to finish. The buffet breakfast has a good spread/variety and wasn’t crowded. They personally served freshly baked goods to every table - just to give you a taste warmed & fluffy pastries. And also mango peeling on the spot - gives a good personal touch of meet-and-greet whilst serving. Truly a happy place to be.
