Highly recommended hotel. Excellent hospitality location breakfast etc.
Khun Tangkwa (Sale) super responsive for all kind of situation and very professional to handle every problem.
Service team provide high class of service and well manage for any issue. Our event run very smooth as silk. We are very satisfy.
Amazing unique hotel. Spacious rooms, great view, well maintained and very clean. Breakfast anazing. You will get fat. Be careful
The ambient, kindness of the staff, and good foods. We have been to this hotel for more than 15 times and that is the best evidence to support how we feel about this hotel. Obviously we enjoyed and valued the cultural aspect during our stay. And the kindness of our host especially general manager, Mr. Hammer
This is the second time I stayed at the hotel in a similar room. I liked it so much last year so I booked it again for this year. You paid a bit more for access to Club Lounge, but actually what you can get out of it is way more than the extra money that you paid. You can have soft drinks and snacks there all day long and then cocktails between 5pm and 7pm. You can even have your breakfast there to get away from the crowd at the main restaurant. Free soft drinks and beer in the room and free laundry for 2 items a day. The room was spacious and also very quiet, and I slept very well everyday. All in all, it is great value for money to get club lounge access! I stayed at a few hotels in Bangkok and the selection at breakfast was one of the best. If you like Japanese food, you can have breakfast specially prepared for you at the Japanese restaurant.
The service is excellent, food is delicious. The atmosphere is great also. Me and my family have a great time on this dining with okura cruise.
It’s an absolute pleasure to return to Okura Prestige every year. Their service is impeccable and the staff is incredibly friendly and super efficient. Great location too. Adjacent to the Skytrain. The breakfast buffet is a dream!
The service was perfect and the people are very nice to us.
This time i stayed in suite room impressive city views through triple-glazed tinted panoramic windows that insulate against both heat and noise. And casual living area with deep majestic tub . Furthermore the hotel provide very delicious breakfast international food is good part .
Top Hotel, nice Pool, super friendly staff and a great manager, food quality is excellent and the rooms are really nice and cozy. I can highly recommend to stay there if you are in Bangkok !
We stayed at the hotel for 12 days on this trip and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. It is our go to hotel whenever we are in Bangkok. On this trip and for the first time we went on the Okura cruise and had dinner at their Elements restaurant, both of which I highly recommend. While Okura is an older hotel, its room and facilities are very well maintained and clean. I credit the hotel general manager for Okura’s continuous high rating in accommodation, service and F&B.
Very nIce hotel, walking distance to big shopping mall where we can find lots of place to eat and window shopping after. Breakfasts are yummy with so many choices
We like Bangkok. We love the tremendous energy of this city, its beauty, and even its chaos. But we also need a counterpoint there, an oasis where we can find peace and quiet. A retreat where we feel completely at home. For many years, the Hotel Okura Prestige has been that place for us. It is unique and cannot be surpassed, even by significantly more expensive hotels. This starts with the perfectly trained staff: from the doormen to the receptionists to the service staff. Everyone is extremely attentive, professional, and friendly.
The breakfast buffet is unparalleled in terms of quality and size. This may be due in part to the hotel's two top-class restaurants – one Japanese and one French – working in the background. Breakfast on the 24th floor can also be enjoyed outside on a spectacular terrace. One floor higher, the infinity pool nestles against the building – absolutely breathtaking. An excellently equipped gym and two saunas are also available. However, the latter seem almost superfluous: you get the heat for free anyway when you go out and about in Bangkok. And the ice bath too, in the malls and in the Skytrain compartments.
The hotel's location is ideal. To get to the Phloen Chit Skytrain station, take the elevator down, turn the corner, and take two escalators up – and you're at the station, where trains arrive every minute.
We have been organizing our trips to Thailand in January and February in the same way for years: First, we spend six nights in this fantastic hotel. Then we fly to the north and south of the country and finish with another four nights at the Okura Prestige. We spend the rest of the year looking forward to our next trip to Bangkok and this hotel. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Niek Hammer, the hotel manager, and his fabulous team. We have never found anything comparable in a hotel anywhere else.
I have been traveling to Thailand for over 40 years, staying in nearly every five-star property the country has to offer. It is rare that a hotel can still "wow" me, but The Okura Prestige Bangkok did exactly that. It is, quite simply, in a league of its own.
We had booked a suite, but when we checked in they surprised us with a complimentary upgrade to the Imperial Suite – the biggest and most luxurious one in the hotel (302 m²). Huge master bedroom, separate living and dining areas, incredible 180-degree views over Bangkok, and the bathroom was unreal: private steam room, sauna, massive deep tub with city views, everything super high-end.
The hotel has that nice Japanese style – clean, quiet rooms even though it's right in the city, and the infinity pool on the 25th floor with those skyline views is just stunning. Breakfast at Café Kurve was great every morning, really fresh and good quality. Plus it's right next to BTS Phloen Chit, so super easy to get around.
Service was friendly and attentive the whole time, never pushy. But what really made it special was Niek Hammer, the General Manager. In all my years here I've never met a GM so involved and passionate. You can tell he really cares about every detail, and the whole team goes the extra mile because of him. That's his kind of leadership.
Bottom line: if you're looking for something special in Bangkok, The Okura Prestige is fantastic.
We'll definitely be back.
Big thanks to the whole team, and especially to Niek!
Would stay again? Yes, as soon as possible.
Value for money: Excellent, especially with that upgrade.
Service: Outstanding
Cleanliness: Perfect
Location: Really convenient
10/10 from me!
This is my go to hotel in BKK. Love the spacious and clean room and decor of the hotel. I don't like anything too bright. Calm amidst the hustle and bustle. Proximity to the BTS is a plus. Good service as well.
A bit pricier than normal though.
I loved the stay. It is in an excellent location in Ploenchit, close to almost everything from hospitals to shopping centers.
I always enjoy the breakfast here at Okura. One of the most amazing quality.
Rooms are great - it might be nice to change the carpets (it’s not bad but aged) since it’s been there for quite some time but, it’s always clean and meticulously attended to.
I will return!
One of my favorite stays in Thailand. A quiet and relaxing oasis in the middle of a busy and chaotic city. I was in Bangkok for a business trip and decided to extend for the weekend (2 nights) at The Okura Prestige. The pictures on Google and Booking did not do the place justice!! The room I had stayed at was modern but kept the style and sensibilities of Japan (in the middle of BKK). The beddings were amazing, the yukata was so comfortable. Much better than a robe!! (My regret was not asking if they had sold them). The service was impeccable. They always left a bowl of fruits each day, twice at one point coz I had eaten early in the morning. I found the price very reasonable given the location was super great - it had access to the MRT, it had a good sized 7/11 nearby, there was an amazing spa off premises nearby. Everything was so clean too!!
REMEMBER TO BRING SWIMWEAR - The pool was AMAZING. I have no words. I went in the morning, I had it all to myself.
TRY THE JAPANESE BREAKFAST - it tasted like something I could get in Japan!
I probably could have stayed in the hotel and not wandered around BKK. And if I did, given how quiet, peaceful, restful the stay was, I possibly could forget that I was in the middle of a crowded city too.
Amazing experience! Must stay for a different luxurious experience with one of the best Japanese VEG cuisine.
Very contemporary hotel design and rooms.
NO welcome drink on arrival, even for Leader club Members (LHW). Even at Ibis or Novotel I have a welcome drink...
Very noisy Air Conditioning, even on low ; impossible sleeping with AC on ; disappointing for this kind of (luxury) hotel.
Be careful when booking, standard rooms have twin beds instead of King size bed like in allother hotels... I had to change room on arrival.
Difficult to manage (on / off) lights with the digital control panel.
First time in this brand of hotel and disappointed...
Top knot service from the start to and end!
