Pros:

Wir waren bereits zum 2. Mal hier und es hat uns alles sehr gut gefallen, die Betten sind bequem und das Frühstück ist sehr lecker.

Cons:

Das die Minibar im Zimmer nicht gefüllt ist und das es keine Milch für den Kaffee auf dem Zimmer gibt.

Pros:

Das Hotel befindet sich auf einem ehemaligen Zechengelände und lehnt sich auch thematisch an Bergbau / Pott an. Die Gestaltung ist durchgängig geradlinig und hat immer wieder kleine schöne Details mit Verweis zur Kohle (Rückwand hinter dem Bett in anthrazit mit etwas Schimmer, Waschhallenbezeichnung des Badezimmers etc.) Die Zimmer sind modern, ebenso das Bad. Hier stimmt einfach alles. Abendessen im Cloud 7 war sehr gut, das Frühstück war sehr vielfältig und frisch.

Die Problematik mit den E-Ladesäulen muss zur Zufriedenheit der Hotelgäste gelöst werden.
Pros:

Die Einrichtung und Größe des Zimmers und Bades; die Möglichkeit, nach Karte auch nur ein kleines Frühstück zu buchen, wenn morgens Zeit und Appetit fehlen. Das gesamte Ambiente. Das Restaurant. Die E-Lademöglichkeiten für mein Auto. Aber:

Das Hotel verfügt über vier E-Ladeplätze, an denen man für 0,55 € pro kWh laden kann. Ich komme seit längerem regelmäßig jeden Monat in das Hotel. Dieses Mal waren am zweiten Abend alle 4 E-Ladebuchten belegt. Das ist insofern ein potentielles Risiko mit dem man leben müsste, da man das Laden nicht reservieren kann. Jedoch habe ich bisher auch noch nie erlebt, dass an allen vier Ladebuchten ein Auto hing und Strom tankte. Auch dieses Mal hing an KEINER der vier Buchten ein Auto, sondern sie waren einfach nur zugeparkt: von zwei E-Autos (die nicht luden) und von zwei Verbrennern. Ich kam mit fast leerem Auto gegen Abend dorthin, in der Hoffnung, für die Rückreise am nächsten Tag meinen Wagen laden zu können. Die Buchten waren aber und blieben über Nacht zugestellt und die Mitarbeiterin sah sich auch nicht in der Lage, da etwas zu tun. Obwohl ein Aushang vorhanden ist, dass unberechtigtes Parken 35 € kostet und obwohl die Plätze eigentlich abschließbare Sperren haben. Diese wurden offensichtlich auch nicht betätigt und kontrolliert. Das Verbot für Verbrenner als reiner Parkplatz nicht konsequent umgesetzt.
Das empfand ich als sehr unangenehm und ärgerlich, ich musste also nicht nur ins weiter entfernte Parkhaus und die dortige teure Parkgebühr bezahlen, sondern außerdem am kommenden Tag nach dem checkout auf der Rückreise nach SH erst noch eine Ladestation aufsuchen. Aber auch wegen dieses Komforts habe ich bisher Heiner’s Parkhotel gebucht und dieser Standortvorteil steht für mich nun infrage . Ich denke, das Hotel muss sich da etwas einfallen lassen!
