Pleasant town, but easier with a car
Pros:

Our room had an excellent outlook over the river (except for the grime on the window pane on the outside. Hotel is rather old but furnishings in public areas had a lot of character. Biggest disappointment was that the 2 hotel restaurants were not operating, so we had to go out after arrival to find a suitable dining place. Hotel is a bus ride from the middle of the main shopping area of town too.

A little bit dated however it is well maintained and very clean. A fair walk in to town but a pleasant walk alongside the river and handy for the station. Nice reception staff

직원분들이 눈 다 쓸어주시고 제설도 다 해주셔서 그나마 수월하게 나올 수 있었습니다
숙소도 깨끗하고 좋았어요
직원분들도 모두 친절하셨구
다음에 또 방문하려구요, 케이블카 못타서 아쉬워서 또 가려합니다 ㅎㅎ

추천합니다.
Pros:

오래된 건물이지만 청결하게 잘 관리되었음. 위치가 너무 좋아 주차해놓고 잔도를 거닐어 만천하스카이 다녀옴. 온돌방이었는데 이불이 깨끗함. 고즈넉한 단양과 어울러지는 호텔임.

관광호텔 ~ 대체적으로 오래된 건물이고 특히 침대의 상태가 좋지 않아 잠을 제대로 잘 수 가 없었다.
잔도가 가까이 위치해 있어서 걸어서 다녀올 수 있으며 치로 10분 정도만 이동하면 구경시장이 있는 것은 아주 좋다라고 평가할 수 있을 것이다.
하지만 단양에 다시 방문한다면 다른 곳을 선택할 것 같다.

아담한 객실과 시원한 풍경
Pros:

3년전 여름 단양 소노문에서 1박을 했는데 조식 등 나름 서비스는 좋았으나 객실에서 바라보는 풍경이 별로 기대만큼 안좋았던 기억에 이번에는 앞에 강이 흐르는 뷰가 보고 싶어 단양관광호텔 에델바이스를 선택함. 역시 최고의 선택이었음. 전 객실이 리버뷰에 객실도 연식과 달리 청결하고 아담하고 좋았음. 다음에 또 기회가 된다면 또 같은 선택을 할 예정임
