Property Description

Sunset Cove Beach Resort, in sunny Key Largo, offers a true island atmosphere with beautiful private beach sunsets. Affordable accommodations range from cottages to waterfront suites, standard motel rooms, and some fun and interesting accommodations, many of which are pet-friendly. All situated among wild animal statues, the property's tropical vegetation, tiki huts and beach are the perfect setting for sunset weddings, complete with onsite notary. The crystal clear waters of the Florida Bay can be enjoyed from the dock, beach, or a complimentary kayak or paddle board. Your peaceful retreat also includes daily complimentary coffee, juice, and pastries, use of the charcoal bbq pits/grills. Our 3-acre cozy Key Largo resort is at the edge of Florida Bay; less than 20 cottages, suites, "diver's dens," and fun-key RVs are nestled amidst tropical gardens and native palms.

Pros:

This place is absolutely beautiful. Right on the sandy beach. Loungers along water to relax and swim. We will definitely book here again when we return to Florida.

Nice little area, enjoyed the private beach. Receptionist Raysa was wonderful! The cottage was great except the beds were uncomfortable (hard) and the red light that shone in son’s face through the door window all night. Should really cover that window or turn those particular outside lights off after 10pm!

Very nice, staff was super friendly, cabin was clean, my only complaint is breakfast, it was Hostess snacks, not really breakfast. Also in the cabin we stayed in there was no where to sit. Maybe add a small chair.

Staff was friendly, check in was a breeze. The cottage 2 was clean, updated, and stocked with a blender, dishes, paper towels, soap and a sponge. The shower and bathroom were great and everything was perfectly cleaned. Second furthest cottage from the beach and it took probably 1 minute to walk down to the water. The cabanas and seating was plentiful and again, up-kept very well. Only “3 star” rating was for eco-friendly because there was few trash/recycling bins on the beach or in the property, but if others were mindful that shouldn’t be an issue.
We brought our dog, and had no issues with this, they even gave a nice “dog blanket” to cover the whole bed so there was not any contact with it for future guests. They also offered a dog bed and poop bags which was nice. Free coffee & pastries were set out every morning and there were lots of cute shady areas to sit around even aside from the beach.
We ate out for lunch and dinner each night and easily could have walked to most of the places-great location, helpful and friendly staff, very clean. 10/10!

Very nice affordable place to stay in the Keys! Love the dock for fishing for the kids. Lots of stuff to do nearby and plenty of good restaurants. Staff were all very nice and helpful!
