Bathroom was contemporary and clean. Breakfast was good.
Communal areas eg reception, hall, stairs and landing uninviting and carpet filthy and needs replacing. Dinner spoilt due to a table of loud and rude guests; could not wait to leave restaurant.
Slept so well and bed linen so comfy even though there were traffic lights outside the window running through the night making traffic noise very loud from 5am
Food was exceptional especially the pate .
The dogs slept very well and were very comfortable. Room was perfect and so was the shower
Only slight annoyance was the very slow drainage from the bathroom sink .
Day 1 of our cycle tour, staff very accommodating and stored our bike safely in the function room. Dinner was good, very large portions. breakfast was not included in the room rate. Powys Castle just a short walk and worth a revisit in the future.
room rate quite expensive
Location
Clean
Good towels in the room
Manager on duty very unhelpful to a friend who had also booked into the hotel but had somehow cancelled her booking - clearly her mistake - but manager could have been more sympathetic - tried to help.
Good hearty English breakfast, Hot and fresh
Cosy feel to the hotel and rooms.
Very helpful and pleasant staff
Good reception and good food. Room was comfortable, once I realised the window could stay open. Well equipped, long comfortable bath. Handy parking.
Not much else in Welshpool but found some (rather neglected) bits of the Montgomery Canal and some interesting churches.
Beautiful countryside on the doorstep.
Room and especially bathroom were a bit exiguous for a full-price double room. Quite a lot of stairs.
Friendly staff, great location ad lovely food
Bed seemed lumpy
Bad experience
They said I did not have a booking despite me showing them my booking . com active booking . They were totally unhelpful and just said there was no booking . I rang booking . Com who confirmed the booking but the hotel refused to acknowledge it
All the staff were very friendly and made me feel comfortable. The bedroom was lovely and clean with good accessories. My room was lovely and quiet.
The bedroom window wouldn’t open wide enough for me to get cooled down.
Friendly staff and comfortable room
Advanced instruction on how to access car park would be helpful
Room was definitely superior. Staff were very friendly and informative
